Update on former WWE star’s status with TNA Wrestling

According to a report from Fightful Select, per TNA sources, Cedric Alexander has been working under a short-term contract with TNA, which is set to expire “around the time of Bound for Glory,” which is Sunday, October 12. It was also noted that TNA hopes they can re-sign him.

Alexander made his TNA Wrestling debut back on the June 20, 2025 IMPACT television tapings, confronting Mustafa Ali in the ring. That segment aired six-days later on AXS TV and the TNA+ streaming service.

Per F4WOnline, Alexander has only wrestled a total of eight times for TNA and will be on this Thursday’s IMPACT Bound For Glory go-home show. As of this writing, Alexander has not been scheduled for the pay-per-view. He has not been announced for the wrestled eight times for the promotion and will be in action this Thursday for the Bound for Glory go-home show. As of this writing, he has not been announced for a match at the pay-per-view.

Fiightful Select also added that TNA’s roster could undergo some changes and turnover, as there are other contracts set to expire around Bound For Glory and that TNA is working on renewing deals with those specific talents.
