PWInsider is reporting that Pop TV will be moving Impact to a new weekly timeslot starting at 10:00 p.m. Eastern (9:00 CT) every Thursday night.
The move is reportedly set to begin in two weeks on October 25. The same report indicated that Impact Wrestling officials were made aware of the change this week.
This means the show will no longer be airing in primetime every Thursday night, a first for the show since its initial run on Spike TV back in 2007.
We don’t have any viewership numbers yet for last night’s Impact episode, meaning it didn’t crack the top 150 shows on cable for Thursday night.
Impact debuted on Pop TV back in December of 2015 and has remained on the network ever since. The show, which initially launched on Fox Sports Net back in 2004, debuted on Spike TV in 2005 and ended its run on the network in December of 2014. The company would spend one year on Destination America in 2015 before the move to Pop TV.
