IMPACT planning Rebellion for AXS TV, plans for empty arena shows

According to a new report by PWInsider, IMPACT has plans to “move forward” in “some form” with Rebellion as possibly a special for AXS TV.

The Rebellion pay-per view was originally scheduled to take place on April 19 at Terminal 5 in New York.  However, the event was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

It is also being said that at least two new matches will be announced on tonight’s IMPACT episode on AXS TV.

Also according to the same report, the company has a tentative plan to tape new material for AXS TV in an empty arena setting.

As of this report, there is no word on if or when IMPACT plans to tape in an empty arena setting.

The following matches had been previously announced for the Rebellion PPV:

– IMPACT Championship Triple Threat Match: Tessa Blanchard vs. Michael Elgin vs. Eddie Edwards.

– Ken Shamrock vs. Sami Callihan.
