Eric Young makes his return to IMPACT

Former WWE Superstar and TNA/IMPACT star Eric Young made his return to IMPACT Wrestling during last night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view.

Young’s music hit just after Rich Swann was announced as the mystery fourth participant for the vacant IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship.

He spent 12 years with TNA/IMPACT Wrestling from 2004 to 2016. He held every championship within the company.  He left IMPACT in March 2016.

Not under a contract, Young appeared on the May 4, 2016 episode of WWE NXT, confronting then NXT Champion Samoa Joe.

Young spent three years in WWE NXT as the leader of the SAnitY stable, winning the tag NXT Tag Team Championships.  The stable was called up to SmackDown in April 2018.

Young was released from his WWE contract back in April as part of the financial cuts due to the challenges from the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
