A documentary on Power Trip Wrestling’s Sean Midnight, who is one of the
few deaf profesional wrestlers in the United Kingdom, will be shown upon
Sky Digital, on April 1st 2009, as part of “Wicked!”, which is a signed
programme for the deaf community.

The programme is filmed by Remark! (, and this
particular episode focuses and features upon Sean Midnight’s professional
wrestling career, particularly in Power Trip Wrestling. Both Sean himself,
and Power Trip Wrestling promoter Peter Staniforth, are interviewed; and
also featured is exclusive footage of Sean’s match on the evening of
Saturday 14th March 2009 at PTW’s 2nd Anniversary Show in Houghton Regis,

Subjects touched upon during the interview, include how Sean is accepted
in professional wrestling, and his determination to be a positive role
model for the deaf community; and also how Peter believes that Power Trip
Wrestling is attempting to show that talent should be given the
opportunity to shine whatever the situation; and that Power Trip Wrestling
is a business that shows no prejudice.
