The month of March is getting closer and closer which means CWE’s Point to Prove is on the horizon! Canadian Wrestling’s Elite returns to Winnipeg on March 7th debuting at the Glenwood Community Center with a star studded line up that is already shaping up to be a can’t miss wrestling extravaganza! Just released is what guarantees to be perhaps one of the most entertaining matches to potentially occur in a Manitoba wrestling ring,

WWE Legend Bushwhacker Luke vs. “Beautiful” Bobby Jay

In a world of crazy off the wall personalities this match is bringing perhaps the two most crazy off the wall personalities and bringing them together for what will be a memorable match for all those in attendance regardless of the outcome. The fun loving Bushwhacker Luke is one of the few true legends of the wrestling business still actively competing all over the world and he will have his work cut out from him when he wrestles a man who could be regarded as having the same legendary status here in the province of Manitoba, “Beautiful” Bobby Jay. This match will be an entertainment spectacle the whole family can enjoy! Once these men get down to business they can both get it done in the ring and Bobby Jay is coming into Point to Prove with a point to prove after going toe to toe with former TNA X Division Petey Williams at Collision Course and coming out on the short end of the stick. Bobby Jay is showing fans he may be perhaps the most versatile wrestler in CWE going against wrestlers of all ages and styles of professional wrestling but after being a recipient of a Canadian Destroyer piledriver Bobby Jay’s momentum that he built since August may come to screeching halt at the hands of this WWE legend!

Former WWE/ECW star & Japanese Legend Yoshihiro Tajiri

With great pleasure Canadian Wrestling’s Elite is proud to announce it has come to terms with what has to be considered it’s biggest international signing to date, a signing that will see “The Japanese Buzzsaw” Yoshihiro Tajiri grace a CWE ring. CWE has imported some of the best pure wrestling talent in the World during it’s existence but there are very few men that carry the credentials of Tajiri who has held major titles all over the World during his very impressive career. First coming to fame in North America in ECW, Tajiri captured both the ECW TV and Tag Team title during his stay. Tajiri then moved on to World Wrestling Entertainment where he captured tag team titles with both William Regal and Eddie Guerrero. Tag team wrestling wasn’t his only expertise as he managed to capture the WCW United States title as well as different versions of the WWE/WCW Lightheavyweight/Cruiserweight title on a very impressive 5 different occasions. You do not want to to miss this very rare opportunity to catch one of wrestling’s true international wrestling legends in action!

“Bad Ass” Billy Gunn

“Oh you didn’t know!?” It was only a month a go “The Road Dogg” Jesse James competed in CWE action and now his infamous tag team partner, the 6’5” 280lbs “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn coming to test his abilities against Canadian Wrestling’s Elite! You won’t come across too many people who aren’t familiar with this former member of D-Generation X and 10 time WWE Tag Team Title holder. Was one of the longest active wrestlers on the WWE roster until he left the company in 2005 and managed to not only capture 10 Tag Team championships but an IC and Hardcore title reign and the 1999 King of the Ring crown. Having just left TNA Wrestling, Billy is still in the best shape of his life and guarantees to leave a crowd happy like no other at Point to Prove!
