C4 Wrestling: May 1 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

C4 Wrestling sent this in:

Best of the best?
?Mr. Wrestling? Kevin Steen ?C*4 Champion ? has successfully defeated all challengers who have stepped in front of him since being crowned our first Champion.

Petey Williams?
Claudio Castagnoli?
Kiyoshi?
Stupefied?
?all have fallen.

Steen has delivered consistently ? defending his Championship with pride and honour. He?s openly accepted all comers and continues to welcome any challengers to face off against him.

On top of his accomplishments in C*4, Steen was recently named the #1 wrestler of the decade in a ranking of all Quebec talent. Arguably this top ranking could be stretched to cover all of Canada for the last decade.

Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Combat Zone Wrestling, IWS, InterSpecies Wrestling, UWA Hardcore, CPW International, IWA Mid-South , the list goes on and on – All promotions where Steen appeared and proved time and time again why fans gave him the label of ?Mr. Wrestling?.

Arguably, ?Mr. Wrestling? Kevin Steen is the most dominate and consistent professional wrestler to come out of Canada from the last 10 years.

Arguably…

One to argue ? perhaps the top talent to come out of Ontario from the last decade ? a man who?s dominated Ontario like few others ? and won award after award for his excellence ? relative C*4 new-comer- Tyson Dux.

Being known as ?Textbook?, Tyson has gone from a student of the game to being a teacher. Dux has become the centre-piece in the Southern Ontario merger of BSE Pro Wrestling, and Border City Wrestling. As well, Dux has collected Championships left and right across Ontario. Dux has also made memorable impressions in appearances in Japan and America.
On Saturday March 13th, Tyson Dux shocked many fans, when he cleanly defeated fan favourite, and top international talent ? El Generico. Dux immediately spoke to C*4 management and demanded a future C*4 Championship match.

Steen was quick to accept.

On Saturday May 1st, 2010 ? for the first time ever ? ?the best? will face off in a first time ever singles encounter, for the C*4 Championship. Only one of these men will walk away victorious? only one will STAND ALONE as THE BEST.

On the rebound
As mentioned above on the list of those who challenged and failed to capture the C*4 Championship ? Stupefied returns to action on Saturday May 1st. The young ?Player Dos? looks to rebound from his hard-fought loss to ?Mr. Wrestling?, and regain his momentum.

Another man, mentioned above, also looks to rebound from a narrow loss. The man who fell to Tyson Dux on March 13th, El Generico returns to C*4 on May 1st. Generico has had mixed results in C*4 action this season, and looks to get back to winning ways as he challenges Stupefied in singles action.

Having only crossed paths in tag team action in C*4 over the past few years ? this will be a first ever C*4 singles encounter on May 1st. Who will walk away victorious?
