When some bands have a day off, they want to lay low and relax at the hotel or go to the movies. When the Insane Clown Posse have a day off they descend unnanounced on a small town wrestling show and electrify the locals with their in ring performance.

Take last night for example.. In between the Tulsa, OK and Lousiville, KY stops of the Happy Daze tour, the Wicked Clowns invaded the definitive small town: Olney, Illinois. Previously noteable for being one of only two cities in North America that is home to the elusive “white squirrel”, the town had something new to talk about as the buzz spread through the town and surrounding areas like wildfire in the hours leading to the event that Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope would be bringing a special unnanounced main event to the local IWA Productions wrestling show at the Knights of Columbus… And they didn’t come alone.

The top stars of Juggalo Championship Wrestling were in effect and delivered a wild main event that tore down the house and delivered a world class match to this working class community and gave the locals something to smile about.

In the main event: Juggalo Championship wrestling (JCW) world champion Corporal Robinson teamed up with Violent J and The Weedman to take on the hated tag team duo comprised of JCW tag team champs the Thomaselli brothers (Vito and Paulie)and the debuting Twinkie-Hop.

Chants of ICP, JCW, and Family! were loudly chanted throughout the night in anticipation of this special match, and the diverse audience ranging from 8 to 80 year olds got a special treat when JCW Ring Announcer Legz Diamond introduced Violent J.J. the facepainted 5 year old son of ICP’s Violent J as he led his fathers team to the ring under the watchful eye of the JCW diva Sugar Slam! The youngster had learned well from the Duke of the Wicked as he was at home in and around the ring running the ropes, slapping hands, soaking in the crowd chanting his name, and even getting involved in the action raining punches and slaps on and around the face of the dastardly Paulie Thomaselli.

Not to be outdone by the charismatic youngster, Violent J’s partner in rhyme Shaggy 2 Dope who was filming a new episode of the internet sensation “The Shaggy Show” became an official participant in the match, throwing suplexes, punches, and slams with charismatic precision.

The roof came off the building when senior official Kevin Gill lost control of the match and a series of lucha libre dives out of the ring set up the photo finish of Big Violent J doing a picture perfect rotating, flipping dive off the top rope onto the bad guys at ringside which led to Corporal Robinson hitting his bootcamp finisher for the 3 count. As the clowns celebrated their victory with their family and brothers in and outside the ring, they offered a show of respect to their opponents by shaking their hands, and to the beyond capacity crowd by removing the custom jerseys they wore for the match and throwing them into the audience.

Why Olney? Why not?

As we announced a couple weeks ago, the first man in the open championship elimination match is Nick F’n Gage. Well we’ve now confirmed the next 2 people for the match and they’re no strangers to JAPW.

First, is a guy who has impressed in his short time here thus far and that man is EGOTISTICO FANTASTICO! Ego has put on memorable performances each time though he only has one win in JAPW. However, that win was over a former Light Heavyweight champion, Prince Mustafa Ali. Ego has been in quite a few multiman matches in both CZW and JAPW so you have to think he has a good chance to be victorious in this one. His biggest asset will be his ability to adapt to his opponents, being able to work a striking style, a flying style, or really any style that he needs to gain an advantage over his opponent. Will he be able to take that next step in JAPW and get a title shot? Only time will tell.

The other person who’s been secured for this chance of a lifetime match is a man who JAPW and indy fans though very, very well. In fact, a video of one of his early appearances here has well over 100k views on YouTube. Monsta Mack, take it away http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq1sugcporc . Yes, this match will see the return of EL GENERICO to Rahway! El Generico, despite never really being a regular in JAPW, has accomplished more than most by winning Best of the Light Heavyweights. However, he has never won gold. He hopes to take the first step towards changing that with a win in this match. Will El Generico be able to do that and prove he is numero uno? Or will gold stay just out of his grasp? Come May 22nd, we’ll find out.

The most interesting thing about these three men in this match is that I don’t know if any of them have met face-to-face in the ring before. I mean, imagine the potential interactions. El Generico vs. Ego Fantastico seems like a match made in heaven. Nick Gage vs. Ego could be very interesting as well. But perhaps the most bizarre yet intriguing in El Generico going toe-to-toe with Nick F’n Gage. This is a match that you definitely don’t want to miss. Keep checking back here to find out who the fourth and final participant will be.
