Bryan Danielson, who just returned to WWE last night as Daniel Bryan, will make his final independent wrestling NYC area appearance at EVOLVE on September 11th in Rahway, NJ at the Rahway Rec Center, close to Manhattan. Go to www.EVOLVEwrestling.com or call 267-519-9744 for more info and tickets.
Bryan will be in a one-time-only dream match against Munenori Sawa, who stole the first EVOLVE card with a hard-hitting match against TJP. This is your last chance if you are in the Northeast to see Danielson wrestle in the intimate confines of independent wrestling. This will be a great opportunity to pay homage to the “Best In The World.”
Here’s what Bryan Danielson had to write about EVOLVE in his July 19th blog:
“EVOLVE (www.evolvewrestling.com) was initially conceptualized by myself and Gabe Sapolsky, the former booker for Ring of Honor. We felt that wrestling needed change, as most wrestling became stagnant and many fans were losing interest. Even though I signed with WWE, Gabe forged ahead with the new product, not quite what we envi sioned at first but still a great alternative to what’s happening in the mainstream. EVOLVE 1 had two excellent matches with TJP vs. Munenori Sawa and Davey Richards vs. Kota Ibushi and the EVOLVE 2 main event with Chris Hero vs. Ikuto Hidaka was awesome.”
