THIS IS AWF WRESTLING TV TAPING
SUNDAY 17 OCTOBER, 2010
THE CUBE – CAMPBELLTOWN, NSW

The Australasian Wrestling Federation (AWF) enthusiastically returns to the state of the art Campbelltown Convention & Entertainment Complex venue “The Cube” at the special family friendly time of 2:30pm on Sunday 17 October with a massive afternoon of live sports entertainment entitled “Freakshow Versus Detonation Crew”.

The event itself will be a special “This Is AWF Wrestling” TV Taping, with select bouts set for airing in 2011 on Aurora Community Channel on Foxtel/Austar Pay TV.
This monumental event will showcase a tremendous amount of pro-wrestling excitement featuring over 2 hours of live pro-wrestling action suitable for the whole family. 12 bouts have been scheduled and a special fan appreciation price of only $10 per ticket will apply to the event, making it affordable for any family to attend. That’s under a dollar per bout!

The last Cube event on 9 July saw an excited crowd enjoy a fantastic showing of AWF Wrestling, and saw the tensions between the two most powerful factions in AWF, “The Freakshow” and “The Detonation Crew” come to a head. The 17 October event will no doubt be aiming to top the last event for excitement and action, and will finally resolve the issue of who is the strongest faction in AWF.

The main event proceeding of the huge event will see the main rivalry in AWF over the last few years come to an end as “The Freakshow” of Il Cognito, Australasian Champion Massive Q, Toxin & Mr Mortis will collide with “The Detonation Crew” of TNT, Powerhouse Theo, Iron Jay Coles and the returning Max Comic in a losing team must disband elimination match. The history is so rich between both sides, and the hatred intense, with both teams looking to abolish the other forever. Both factions leaders TNT and Il Cognito have feuded for a decade, switching the Australasian Championship numerous times, and now it has come to their groups being pulled apart. Who will survive, and what will be left of them, and what will be the aftermath? Be at the Cube to witness possibly the biggest match in the history of the AWF.

Elsewhere on the card there will be a plethora of other exciting matches featuring the best wrestlers from around Australia including Australasian Champion Iron Jay Coles defending against Korea’s Masked Musa, a Commonwealth Title bout with New Zealand’s Tama Williams challenging Powerhouse Theo, a Campbelltown Showdown with local residents Scotty Club & Blakestone going at it, and a Young Lion’s Championship encounter with “Mint Condition” Mick Moretti defending against “Scientific” Robert Barnes. In addition Tag Team Champions The Cornershop Connection will attempt to deflect the challenge of Party Magic, and there will be a mixed tag team match with Mighty Mel and Spaceboy Dacey Vs Selene & Omega amongst other huge bouts.
“Freakshow Versus Detonation Crew” is sure to be a historic afternoon packed with surprises galore, so if you are looking for a fun time for the whole family, be sure to make it along and support the Australasian Wrestling Federation when it comes to the Cube on 17 October, 2010 for its next Television Taping episodes of “This Is AWF Wrestling”.

We advise to book early to avoid disappointment as this event will be highly anticipated and will be the hottest ticket in town.
