Charity Wrestling Show: For Brown Family
Norval, Ontario
West 7 Night Club
Ring Announcer: Emanuel Melo
Referee: Jon Turnip
Results credit: The Camaraderie of the OIW Community

This show was intended as a charity benefit to help raise funds for the family of local Ontario indy wrestler Steve Brown who lost everything in a house fire during the Labor Day Weekend. Sadly, many of the wrestlers who had agreed to work the show and most of the fans who showed up at the venue left when issues with the ring pushed the show way past the intended start time. After hours spent working on the ring there were only a few wrestlers and supporters who remained, determined that the show would go on. (Meanwhile, some of those who had left spread the word that the show had been canceled.) Eventually the ring issues were corrected enough that those wrestlers who refused to give up were able to perform for the few diehard fans, friend and family of Steve Brown who remained to watch. Kudos to them all for sticking with it to bring this show off despite almost insurmountable odds…

Virtue then angrily got up and slapped Jessy Jones for allowing the contract to be signed.

This prompted “MVP” Michael Von Payton to hit the ring and verbally berate Steve Corino, along with any ECW alumni to which he referred to as “Extreme retards”. MVP stated that if he was not going to be wrestling Steve Corino, then he would focus his sights on a new opponent. As MVP put his hands on General Manager DJ Brently ready to deliver a right hand, a familiar song echoed through the building and through the curtain came ECW Original, and “Hardcore Chair Swinging Freak” Balls Mahoney. Balls hit the ring, steel chair in hand, scaring off MVP. Balls Mahoney grabbed the mic and layed down the challenge for a Falls Count Anywhere Match against MVP in the Main Event.
