The following evening on Saturday, December 18, 7:30 pm, IWF hosts the 11th Annual Tournament of Champions holiday live event, where the best of the best battle it out in a one-night, single-elimination competition to determine the top wrestler in the federation.

To close out December, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana returns to the ring at another IWF December to Remember holiday live event on Tuesday, December 28, 8:00 pm. Santana will be wrestling in a Main Event tag team match. Tito will also host a fan autograph and photo session.

All three live events take place at IWF Centre, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ. For advance tickets or more information, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.

Powers and Santana also serve as periodic guest instructors at IWF Wrestling School in West Paterson. Established in 1999, the school trains hundreds of prospects from 20 states and nine countries that compete in bouts across the world. The famous facility is recognized as the premiere training school in the Northeast by countless television and news media outlets.

Kevin Knight, a 14-year veteran, leads classes covering basic holds and high-flying moves. 22 graduates performed on WWE Raw and SmackDown Television and Pay-Per-View events, including Darren Young, Fady The Arabian Bull Rakman, The Shore Robbie E, and Dawn Marie.

Powers wrestled in WWE from 1984 to 1994 and is famous for his team with Paul Roma called The Young Stallions. The Stallions were featured on every major event from WrestleMania to Survivor Series to Saturday Night’s Main Event. In later years as a singles competitor, Jim faced off against Ric Flair, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Andre the Giant. Jim then wrestled in WCW from 1996 to 1998, managed by Teddy Long.

Tito Santana is a former two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and former two-time WWE Tag Team Champion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2004 Class by Shawn Michaels, and recently appeared on WWE Monday Night Raw’s “Old School” edition. Santana, along with only Hulk Hogan, holds the unique distinction of appearing in the first nine WrestleMania’s.

“With legends like Jim Powers and Tito Santana on board, wrestlers excel in our program and receive WWE contracts as a result of our first-rate training regimen, coupled with our friendly and safe environment,” said Knight. “Top graduates literally circle the globe, traveling to Canada, Puerto Rico and Japan.”

IWF School open to students ages 18 and up, and Youth Clinics are hosted each July, August, October, November and December for kids ages 12 to 17. Future students interested in visiting the school can attend an upcoming live event. For more information, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
