Montreal Main Event News!
For decades, Montreal has been one of the true-capitals of professional wrestling – and knowing that, we here at C*4 have been taking a lot of time to put together a card that is truly something special.

Much of C*4’s formation can be directly attributed to the Montreal wrestling scene, and it is something that we have proudly worn on our sleeve. It is with great excitement that C*4 debuts in Montreal on Saturday January 15th, 2011 when we present “Triumph 2011”.

What we can announce now are two huge matches for Jan. 15th, featuring some of Montreal’s true world class wrestling talents, including the first half of a huge double main event!

Early last week, we contacted the man who we were set to grant a C*4 Championship match to, the former Champion, “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen. When Steen was contacted, the unexpected happened – he forfeited his automatic rematch at the C*4 Championship and instead requested that C*4 match-makers grant him another Holiday wish.

Kevin Steen wants revenge.

Steen wants the chance to the man he feels cost him his Championship last June. Steen wants to get his hands on Jimmy Jacobs.

It was Jacobs who distracted Steen, and physically allowed others to take advantage of him, directly leading to his elimination from his Championship match. Steen has gone on a tear as of late, punishing opponents more so than usual – and continuously begging C*4 for a chance to get Jacobs in the ring.

When C*4 contacted Jacobs, he responded with simple “let me think about it”. Days later, Jacobs connected with C*4 and said that he would grant Steen his wish – however, he also said that with Steen being in his hometown, he doesn’t trust that he’s not walking into a “trap”. Jacobs said Steen that he will only face him in a situation where he can have a partner.

Steen has accepted.

Next for Jan. 15th, we have what is sure to be a show-stealing first time contest between two of the best junior-heavyweights in North America.

First off, a man who recently returned to C*4 – following a near-career ending injury – Montreal’s own, Dan Paysan!

Paysan returned to action on Nov. 27th’s “Only the Best 3” show, defeating Ontario standout, Sebastian Suave. Paysan has his sights set on his next opponent.

On Jan. 15th, 2011 – at “Triumph”, making his C*4 debut, and Canadian debut – current Chikara Young Lion’s Cup holder – Frightmare!

C*4 fans are very familiar with Frightmare’s Incoherence-partner, Hallowicked – but it will be the first time the young talent to show off his skills.

Will Paysan be victorious in his hometown? Or, can Frightmare make an impactful debut?!
