CWE Championship Match
CWE Champion Mentallo w/”Canadian Loose Cannon” TJ Bratt vs. Former WWE Star GANGREL

Fresh off a controversial match of the year candidate with Kenny Omega at Commencement of War which saw Mentallo refuse another 5 minutes following a double count out finish the champion is thrown back into the fire with another world class challenger. Cult favorite Gangrel returns to CWE in what will be his first appearance for CWE in the city of Winnipeg.

Gangrel is still to the day one of the most memorable wrestlers from WWE’s attitude era with one of the most unique ring entrances to be seen to this day. Gangrel found great success in WWE as a singles competitor and also as a leader of the Brood where he mentored future World champions Edge and Christian before joining The Undertaker’s ministry. Gangrel is still one of the most active wrestlers on the North American independents and internationally and looks to come to CWE and secure a full time position by securing the CWE championship.

Mentallo continues to his 2 plus year reign without being pinned or submitted within a CWE ring and has defeated the who’s who of professional wrestling during that time period. The 14 year veteran rarely gives up the experience edge but will in this battle as well as a considerable size difference which causes considerable reason to think the streak along with his reign as champion could be nearing an end on April 8th at Calm Before the Storm!

Sat. March 12, 2011 – Yanceyville NC – AIWF Pure Pro Wrestling sold out the Bartlett Yancey High School in Yanceyville last night. AIWF Pure Pro put on an incredible show as a fundraiser for the Bartlett Yancey Wrestling Team as they presented AIWF Capital Punishment 2011. What may have shocked not only Yanceyville but the world came when Ricky Morton defeated Handsome Jimi Love in a steel cage to become the new AIWF World Heavyweight Champion! 30 plus years in the business, and Ricky Morton finally claims a prize that he has worked his entire career for, an official World Heavyweight Championship! A very emotional and bloody outlasted the younger Jimi Love, and showed the wrestling world he still has what it takes to compete with the stars of professional wrestling. We will have an interview with Ricky soon right here on the AIWF Site.
