AWEsome Wrestling Entertainment is busy getting ready for its Oct. 15 AWE Awesome Night of the Legends show in the 3,500-seat Augusta Expoland in Fishersville, Va.

Announced so far for the card are Terry Funk, Diamond Dallas Page, Tully Blanchard, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Fit Finlay, Eugene, Beautiful Bobby Eaton, Baby Doll and Gorgeous George.

The first match for the show was announced today – pitting Fit Finlay against “Loose Cannon” Alex Silva.

AWE has been in the news of late with a series of shoot interviews featuring AWE CEO Marvin Ward and Ricky Morton of the Rock-n-Roll Express filling up YouTube and Facebook.

Stay tuned to AwesomeWrestlingEntertainment.com and AWE on Facebook for a big announcement regarding the Night of the Legends show. That announcement will be posted online and on Facebook at 10 a.m. EDT on Monday, June 6.

Tickets went on sale online at midnight June 1.

VIP Ringside: $35 for Rows 1 & 2. Ticket price includes a commemorative souvenir booklet and early entrance into a preshow autograph party.

2.) Phil Atlas def Kobra Kai after an enzuigiri/superkick combination.

3.) Andrew Davis def “Rocksteady” Alex Vega after Davis caught Vega’s crossbody attempt and turned it into a release Michinoku Driver.

4.) Xandra Bale def Courtney Rush with a rollup pin after reversing Rush’s Boston Crab submission attempt.

5.) “The Vanilla Killa” James Champagne def El Sombra after a blatant low blow as referee Pete’s back was turned.

6.) “Highlander” Robbie MacCallister def Pierre Shadows after a double underhook flapjack

7.) El Tornado & Crazzy Steve def Jake O’Reilly & Jon Bolen after Tornado landed a picture perfect frogsplash on Bolen for the pin. O’Reilly attacked Tornado after the match, locking in his Celtic Knot submission. Crazzy Steve made the save with the aid of a chair and Tornado furiously challenged O’Reilly to a submissions match at the next show, July 7th, 2011 for Sudbury’s annual ItalianFest
