Scheduled line-up –
PWO Championship: Johnny Gargano vs. Mike Tolar
When these two men last met, Tolar’s illegal tactics, including forcing gullible lackey Ben Fruith to interfere on Tolar’s behalf, backfired leading to a successful Gargano title defense. Last week on teleivison, Tolar brazenly placed all of the blame on FRUITH, and claimed he would have been successful if not for his involvement. Tolar punished Fruith by placing him in a match (to air one week from this Sunday) and has ordered him to stay in the back this coming week. Tolar is perhaps the best natural athlete PWO has ever seen, but can he realize what he claims is his destiny and defeat someone he deems inferior to him? Meanwhile, Gargano continues to ride a wave of momentum and be as fighting a champion he can be. He has righted wrongs, and used his unique personality to entertain instead of belittle. We hope to get words from Gargano this week regarding this match, after his time last week being interrupted by Bobby Beverly of Sex Appeal, as Gargano prepares for what is another all-important battle. Can Johnny Gargano succeed one more time or will Mike Tolar prove he is without question ?The Greatest Thing Going Today??
PWO Television Championship: ?Omega? Aaron Draven vs. ?M-Dogg 20? Matt Cross
After facing criticism from some that he was not defending his PWO TV championship as much as he should, PWO’s thrill-seeker stepped up and accepted another televised title defense only seven days after defeating Bobby Shields of Sex Appeal. Omega opposes PWO’s first-ever Heavyweight Champion ?Innovator of Aerial Insanity? M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross, who has made it no secret that he is in hot pursuit of the PWO Championship and Johnny Gargano. Gargano has agreed to grant Cross his shot at the gold, and here M-Dogg looks to speed up the process by becoming Television Champion, thus putting him right in top contendership. Meanwhile, Omega Aaron Draven is continuing to show what he is truly capable of now that he is 100% from a serious rib injury, and is determined to silence critics and sacrifice his body and well-being in order to come out victorious, just like he always has. Who will emerge with the PWO TV Title in this battle of two of Pro Wrestling Ohio’s most agile and breathtaking stars?
Bobby Beverly w/Dawn Decadence vs. Hobo Joe
Beverly survived his crippling insecurity over losing two teeth at Wrestlelution 2, only to unfairly blame Gregory Iron for the injury, and subsequently assault Iron, attempting to knock out Iron’s teeth. We have not seen or heard from Greg since, though a longtime friend of Greg took exception and issued a challenge, that man being PWO’s dumpster dweller Hobo Joe. Hobo and Beverly were tag partners once upon a time, but Beverly’s vain disposition and demand for the spotlight drove the two apart in violent fashion. Now, Hobo fights for the honor of himself and Gregory Iron, while Beverly attempts to carry out the longstanding Sex Appeal credo – to humiliate and eliminate everyone deemed too ugly to be on their television show. Will Beverly be able to take out the double-tough Hobo, or can PWO’s cult sensation win won for the common man?
