AWF Summertime Bruise II Gets Even Hotter!
(Whitby, ON) -As if the action set to go down at Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby wasn’t already hot enough! The Southern Ontario based Apocalypse Wrestling Federation (AWF) has just made sure that the air conditioning inside the dinner theatre will have to be cranked just a little bit higher when it presents it’s AWF Summertime Bruise II professional wrestling show on Sunday July 17th at 2 PM.
Just announced by the AWF is that KRISTA FORD, the personable, athletic and stunningly beautiful captain of the Lingerie Football League’s newest team, the Toronto Triumph, will be making a special guest appearance at AWF Summertime Bruise II to witness, first hand, the best in Canadian professional wrestling as she brings awareness to Canada’s newest contact sport spectacle: The Lingerie Football League! Accompanying Krista, the niece of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and Toronto City Councillor Doug Ford, to the AWF wrestling show in Whitby will also be several other members of Toronto’s new Lingerie Football League team!
In an action packed, family friendly and fun filled afternoon of hard hitting pro-wrestling excitement that includes 7 BIG MATCHES including a championship match, a grudge match and a battle of high flyers what has tweaked Ms. Ford’s interest in the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation you may ask?
Well, it would be the recently announced ladies match of course! The match that will feature the Canadian wrestling debut of a former professional linebacker for the Pittsburgh Force women’s full contact professional football team, the aptly named, BRITTANY FORCE as she is set to square off against Canadian favourite CHERRY BOMB.
The Apocalypse Wrestling Federation ladies wrestling match set for Sunday July 17th in Whitby will be one of the promotion’s most high profile women’s matches in recent years. The AWF has a long history in training, showcasing and featuring some of the biggest names in women’s professional wrestling history including former WWE women’s champs TRISH STRATUS, “THE GLAMAZON” BETH PHOENIX, JILLIAN HALL and more.
BRITTANY FORCE makes her Canadian debut in the AWF due largely in part to Pro-Wrestling Illustrated magazine’s Senior Writer DAN MURPHY, who will be in Whitby on July 17th to cover the event. “I am looking forward to coming to Canada almost as much as I am looking forward to squashing Miss Cherry Bomb,” said FORCE. “And KRISTA FORD better take notice as well. I understand that she has just been named the Captain of the Toronto Triumph and I am glad that she will be sitting ringside to see how a real women, a woman that hails from every man’s fantasy, hits. In addition to being on hand to catch the excitement of the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation Toronto Triumph Captain KRISTA FORD and other Toronto Triumph team members will also be on hand for a meet and greet with AWF fans and Lingerie Football League (LFL) tickets will also be raffled off on July 17th at Class Act.
KRISTA is currently scheduled to compete as an honoree player in the Eastern Conference when the LFL gets set to invade Canada for the first time ever with it’s 2011 ALL FANTASY GAME at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton on July 30th.
And following the league’s ALL FANTASY GAME in the Hammer the Toronto Triumph home opener led by Captain KRISTA FORD touches down at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto on Sept. 17th.

Tickets to AWF Summertime Bruise II will be available at the door on the day of the show and are priced at ONLY $20 for adult seating and ONLY $10 for children 12 years of age and under.
