Premiering Wednesday, August 24, at 10PM ET/PT on the National Geographic Channel, meet the promoters who struggle to put on a successful show, and the colorful performers who tough out falls and blows night after night in the hopes of reaching stardom. But injuries are not the only challenges these wrestlers face. When they aren’t in the ring, they are on the road traveling to the next event, at the gym, training or developing their wrestling personalities.

The powerful one-hour special will highlight the behind the scenes action of the indie wrestling circuit. The same circuit that feeds the WWE, TNA Impact and other high profile televised pro wrestling companies with talent and even story line ideas.
