7/18- Two Canadian Stand Outs Set to Debut

We are just over a week away from Only The Strong Survive in Winnipeg and 3 more big matches have been announced to the already stacked line up on Sunday August 28th! Just released,

“Hotshot” Danny Duggan vs. Carter Mason

Fresh off a huge win against Raven to keep his job in the company the Alliance of Defiance puts Danny Duggan to the test again this time importing Ontario independent wrestling standout Carter Mason to try and derail Duggan. After trying to put him out of his element with an “extreme rules” match to no avail the AOD battles fire with fire by bringing in Mason who has a very strong technical background and a style very similar to Duggan as they were both trained under former TNA X Division champion Johnny Devine. Mason has been a force in Ontario and has taken his success overseas with three successful tours in Europe with a fourth scheduled in November. Mason has also had stints with IWA Mid-South and Juggalo Championship Wrestling in the US. This will be Mason’s Manitoba wrestling and he looks to make an impact defeating one of CWE’s top stars on behalf of the AOD. Danny Duggan put to the test again on the 28th!

Zack Mercury vs. Ra’ am Dante

One independent standout from the east debuts and one from the west as Ra’ am Dante will travel from Calgary, Alberta to the wrestling hotbed of Winnipeg, Manitoba to challenge fan favorite Zack Mercury. Ra’ am Dante is the corner stone of the upstart TCW promotion in Alberta where he is fresh off a heavyweight title reign for the promotion. Trained by former WWE star and Japanese competitor “Razor” Rick Titan, Dante has been equipped with all the right tools for success. Zack Mercury’s career as of late has been on a roller coaster of a ride with a few small miscommunication have left a furious Mercury losing matches and barely scrapping by in the ones he has won. The few mis cues has had some fans start to doubt the Mercatronic and that more than anything has been getting to the veteran. Zack Mercury has been a staple of Winnipeg wrestling for the past decade and looks to regain momentum by sending Dante packing to Calgary with a loss!

123Approved.ca Open Rules Title Match- Fall Count Anywhere
Open Rules Champion Darren “The Bomb” Dalton vs. “The Infamous” Steven Stylez

The bomb is ready to explode again with another tough Open Rules title defense in front of him on August 28th! Taken to the limit at Extreme Consequences by “Big” Cliff Corleone Dalton proved now matter how big and bad his opponents was “The Bomb” was bigger and badder. On August 28th Dalton defends against the controversial Steven Stylez from Edmonton, Alberta who looks to make his mark in Manitoba wrestling. Whether you love him or hate him there is no question that Steven Stylez has created a reputation for himself for his unorthodox style of professional wrestling throughout the country. With many of the industries best not able to conquer Dalton an unorthodox style of wrestling is exactly what it might take to defeat Dalton for the Open Rules titles. Stylez has selected a Falls Count Anywhere match so it’s highly likely this match could end up all over the North End!
