EWLS (Extreme Wrestling League Show) Presents: Wrestledown 2011
Saturday, August 20th at 7 pm
45 Cassels Road East, Brooklin Ontario
Ring Announcer: General Manager J. Tyler-Smith
Referees: Jeremy Hogel, Mike Stripes
Attendance: 75 +/-
Show opened with General Manager J. Tyler-Smith, accompanied by his security guard Tommy Powers, introducing fans to the show and hyping one of two main events mainly the Extreme Championship match between Jessy Jones and Justin Sane. He was interrupted by Jones who, accompanied by his remaining security agent Lager, came to the ring and voiced his frustration over his challenger tonight and demanded that they don’t wait until later and the match happens now.
MATCH 1: EWLS EXTREME CHAMPIONSHIP
Justin Sane def. Jessy Jones w/Agent Lager via DQ
Angered over Jones getting himself disqualified, Justin continued to beat up Jones. Officials made their way to the ring. Smith said that he thinks Justin deserves a proper rematch, in a place where there are no disqualifications, no count outs and no interference…inside a Steel Cage! Smith also said he will appoint himself the Special Guest referee in that Main Event on November 12th.
MATCH 2: LAST ENTRY TO THE WRESTLEDOWN ON THE LINE
‘Surfs Up’ Johnny Wave def. Robbie Reckless
After wiping out Reckless by catching him in a mid-air Riptide, Wave’s victory was short celebrated when Moondog Buddy, along with Mr. Saki, ran in and brutally attacked Wave. Saki said if Moondog could not earn his entry spot into the Wrestledown, he would just take Wave out and get it. Rip Impact ran in to make the save. Buddy and Saki bailed, escorted away by Powers. Rip, the officials and Smith helped the ailing Wave into the back. Smith said it looks like Wave’s back was injured and it was indefinite whether he would make it to the Wrestledown later that night.
MATCH 3: GRUDGE MATCH

MATCH 4: EWLS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Steve Brown & Joey Kings def. Total Devastation w/Black Mask
MATCH 5: STUDENT VS TEACHER
Moondog Buddy w/Mr. Saki def. Rip Impact
EWLS Owner/President Darryl Extreme then announced that beginning in November there will be a tournament to decide the first ever EWLS Fighters Championship.
MAIN EVENT: THE WRESTLEDOWN
Order of Entry: Alessandro Del Bruno, Rip Impact, Catalyst, Eddie Osborne, CJ Felony, Joey Kings, Robbie Reckless, Steve Brown, Mr. Saki, Buck Gunderson, Tommy Powers and Moondog Buddy
Alessandro Del Bruno and Rip Impact started the bout. Osborne came in at number four and immediately went for Alessandro but his plan backfired and Alessandro was able to eliminate him. The rest of the locker room made their way out every 30 seconds including a surprise debut appearance by Buck Gunderson. The final two competitors were Steve Brown and Moondog Buddy. The last two then square off in a singles match where the only way to win is by pinfall. With the help of Mr. Saki, Buddy was able to beat Brown for the 3 count. But then – Wave’s music blasted over the speakers and Wave made his way out. Smith said this match will continue as the main event of the Wrestledown.
WRESTLEDOWN FINAL TWO SINGLES MATCH
‘Surfs Up’ Johnny Wave w/J. Tyler-Smith def. Moondog Buddy w/Mr. Saki
The climactic moment of this match found Moondog Buddy using a steel garbage can on Wave, but Wave was able to set up Buddy in the corner. He firmly planted the garbage can on Buddy and ascended the opposite turnbuckle. Mr. Saki went into to try and stop him but Smith countered him with a DD’digni’T. With Saki out permanently, Wave flew from coast to coast smashing the garbage can into Buddy and keeping him down for the three count.
