C*4 PRESS RELEASE:
A new year, a new decade – time to Level Up!
Heading into a new year – Plenty of questions and rumours about our Champion – “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen’s health and career have been circulating amongst fans and wrestlers alike.
With that acknowledged, C*4 will confirm that Steen will be at C*4’s next event on January 16th, 2010 – and has agreed to appear and defend his championship.
Furthermore, Kevin Steen requested the chance to make up for missing C*4’s “Only the Best 2” event, and defend his championship against TWO opponents in a Three-Way Dance!
C*4 has gladly taken Steen up on this – and is happy to announce his two “international” opponents!
Firstly, representing the “Edge of Sanity” – C*4 welcomes the debut of independent and international talent – Delirious!
Known for his “unusual” and “unorthodox” style, Delirious has become a favourite amongst fans around the world. His battles with C.M. Punk and Evan Bourne are the thing of independent wrestling legend.
Delirious is a world-class competitor who will surely take Steen to the limit, and possibly take the C*4 Championship from around his waist!
However, that’s not the only obstacle in front of Steen on Jan. 16th…
Also stepping into the contest – a C*4 regular and fan favourite – hailing from the Mushroom Kingdom, one-one half of the Super Smash Brothers – Player Uno!
Player Uno was the man who Kevin Steen pinned to win the C*4 Championship last June – and the man who Steen hasn’t squared off with since.
Coming off a huge win in October, with a big win over Hallowicked and Kushida, Uno approached C*4 management requesting a shot at the championship.
Will Steen be able to battle through rumours, injury, and more importantly, two challengers to retain the C*4 Championship? Or, will Mr. Wrestling be overwhelmed by these representatives of the nation of Parts Unknown? Whatever you do – don’t miss what is sure to be a hell of a main event to kick off 2010!

In what could possibly be a show stealing contest between two very talented individuals – C*4 is excited to announce another match-up.
Making his return to C*4 action for the first time since September, when he defeated “MVP” Michael Von Payton in an exciting match, El Generico! The master of the Brainbustaaaaahhhhh! – Generico hasn’t tasted defeat in almost a year in a C*4 ring. Can he continue his winning ways?
Squaring off with El Generico is another man who lays claim to a victory over “MVP” this season – also making his first appearance since that victory – and also a master of his own variation of the Brainbuster, Tyson Dux!
In what should be a great first-time meeting between two fan favourites, both men will be looking for a very important win.

In October of 2009, a match-up between Stupefied, Sabian, Michael Elgin, and, Jae Rukin, nearly stole the show in an incredible 4-Corner showdown.
Jae Rukin surprised all involved, and fans in attendance with picking up the win.
Now, two men who found themselves on the losing end of the match have an opportunity to redeem themselves in a first-time ever singles match-up…
Power-house “Canadian Crazyhorse” Michael Elgin – who won over every fan in attendance on Oct 16th, for his part in the four-way match – looks to get back on a winning track on Jan. 16th. Elgin, previously picked up a dominating win in September, utterly tearing apart Phil Atlas. Will Elgin be able to do it again?
Standing opposite the “Crazyhorse”, is C*4 fan favourite, and resident risk-taker, the always popular Stupefied!
Stupefied hasn’t had much luck in C*4 action as of late, and looks to turn things around in 2010. A win over Elgin would do just that – if he can pull it off!
Will Stupefied manage to overcome the much larger and more powerful “Canadian Crazyhorse”? Or will Elgin use the same power he used on three-men, and concentrate it on obliterating just one, on Jan 16th?
