-FACADE DEFENDS THE INTENSE TITLE AGAINST CHRIS DICKINSON!
After having the help of Eric Alverado, Facade retained the Intense Title against Johnny Gargano at “Hell On Earth 5”. While both were celebrating, the fast rising star in AIW, Chris Dickinson came out and laid down a challenge. Having already beaten both Eric Alverado and The Necro Butcher in AIW, he wanted a shot at Facade’s Intense Title. The Intense Title currently the top singles title up for grabs in AIW due to the Absolute Title being vacant suddenly got a lot more valuable. Facade has beaten the likes of Sonay Dutt and Johnny Gargano recently, but he’s never faced the likes of Chris Dickinson. Will the new found alliance between Facade and Alverado have any bearing on this match? What part will Facade’s running mate Shiima Xion also play? Will Dickinson be able to handle everything standing in his way to gain his first title in AIW in the fastest rise in AIW history?
-SHANE DOUGLAS DEBUTS IN AIW!
When word got around that Shane Douglas was debuting for AIW, nobody knew who he was scheduled to face. That answer was given at “Hell On Earth 5” when M.Baker made his AIW return and laid down the challenge. Baker, who’s tired of living behind old wrestling gimmicks came out at the show and said that he’s the oldest member of the AIW roster and he’s going to prove that he belongs as himself. It could be a huge impact for him to beat a Extreme Legend such as Shane Douglas. From his past in ECW, WWE, WCW and many more, Shane Douglas comes in with worlds of experience more than M.Baker. Who will leave the 50th show with their hand raised?
-FOR THE 30TH SPOT IN THE GUANTLET: DRAKE YOUNGER VS. STERLING JAMES KEENAN!
With the Absolute Title being vacated during “Hell On Earth 5”, Sterling James Keenan demanded that Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins just award him the title due to his past run with it. SJK claims the match from “March For The Gold 2” where he lost the title to Drake Younger wasn’t fair as it was a last minute match and he wasn’t prepared. SJK gets a chance to redeem himself as he once again faces the “Psycho Shooter”. With the stipulation that the winner gets Number 30 in the Gauntlet For The Gold 5 in early 2010 and the loser getting Number 1, the stakes are even higher as the Gauntlet once again is for the AIW Absolute Title. When SJK won the title in 2008 at Gauntlet For The Gold 4, he had entered at Number 30, so obviously the odds that whoever wins that spot could go on to hold the title are very high. Who will leave this match one step closer to The AIW Absolute Title?
-LAST MAN STANDING FOR THE AIW TAG TITLES: THE YOUNG STUDS VS. FAITH IN NOTHING!
What can be said about Faith In Nothing that hasn’t been said? They have one of the top teams in wrestling today and they have destroyed any challenge laid in front of them. But every success story has speed bumps along the way. During a match with The Young Studs in August at “Honor And Vengeance”, Christian Faith’s mask was removed. This caused the Young Studs to regain the AIW Tag Titles from Faith In Nothing. Since that day, Faith In Nothing just haven’t been able to get back on the same page with each other including Nothing shoving Faith down at “Hell On Earth 5”. Will Faith In Nothing be able to get along long enough to regain the AIW Tag Titles? Or will The Young Studs again sneak out a victory?
-FANS BRING THE WEAPONS: ALPHA BETA DUKE AND JOHN THORNE VS. DA LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE!
Alpha Beta Duke and Da Latin Crime Syndicate have been battling for months in AIW. However the feud took a turn for the worse when Da Latins on two occasions have laid out Alpha Beta Duke and buried them in the Puerto Rican flag. After beating Alpha Beta Duke with chairs at “Hell On Earth 5”, Pedro Deluca ran backstage and tried to get help. The first person he found was an unlikely ally in “The Passion” John Thorne. Thorne helped run off the Da Latins and while The Duke was nervous about working with Thorne, he’s agreed to team with Thorne in his own speciality match, Fans Bring The Weapons. 3 On 3, with the ring surrounded with fan-made weapons, one is left to believe that we’ll be lucky to have all 6 men last and survive to compete in AIW. Will the 50th show be the last for people in this battle?
-GRUDGE MATCH: JOHNNY GARGANO VS. ERIC ALVERADO!
Johnny Gargano has been a fixture in AIW for almost the entire run of the promotion, When you mention AIW’s Intense Division you usually look at Johnny Gargano. Johnny has made a name for himself all over the country with acclaimed matches in places like Chikara, AAW and Dragon Gate USA. Meanwhile Eric Alverado has been moving up the ranks in indys in the Northeast trying to make a name for himself. Eric Alverado would kill somebody for a career like Johnny Gargano. In fact, it might be Gargano he’s going to kill. Gargano was booked in the Main event of “Hell On Earth 5” against Facade for the Intense Title. Eric Alverado wasn’t booked for the event and was so personally upset that he drove all the way from New Jersey to take out his own frustration on Gargano. With his odd pairing with Facade, will Gargano continue to be the backbone of the Intense Division in AIW? Or will Alverado destroy Johnny Gargano in hopes that he can take over his career?
-THE AIW LEGACY BRAWL!
A special battle royal has been added to AIW’s 50th show. With the cast of characters in AIW past, you can only imagine who will return in this match. Already signed are people like Former AIW Tag Champ Shawn Blaze, “Big Time” Billy Taylor, “The Puerto Rican Sensation” Issac Montana, The Potato, Rebis and Moonshine Muck McGee. Who else will be announced? Needless to say, this could have been one of the most interesting matches of the night. AIW has signed former Tag, Absolute and Intense Champs to return for this. Will these returns be for One Night Only? Or permanent returns?
-8 PERSON TAG: HATRED/HAVOC/HOMELESS HANDICAP CONNECTION VS. THE JACK OF LOVE/????
Hailey Hatred’s domination of AIW has been almost flawless. Except for one loss, she has ran thru anybody she has faced male or female. Hailey as AIW Woman’s Champ has victories over Jennifer Blake, Allison Wonderland, Sara Del Ray and countless others. The only person to ever come close to winning the title from her…..is Jefferson Saint? Distraught over losing to her multiple times, Saint and the Jack Of Love crew have attacked her and left her laying with chairs and other weapons. Meanwhile, they have also been doing the same to The Homeless Handicap Connection. Due to this The Homeless Handicap Connection and Hatred/Havoc have agreed to join together and finally rid AIW of The Jack Of Love. The only variable in this is the fact that The Jack Of Love haven’t revealed their 4th partner. Who the will 4th person be? Will The Jack Of Love cheat and steal another victory against their rivals?
-SHIIMA XION TEAMS WITH LOW RIDER AGAINST AEROFORM!
Shiima Xion is the first person to talk about his career. From Japan to Mexico to success here in the US, Shiima has seen and done almost all. But quickly on his tail are AEROFORM of Flip Kendrick and Louis Lyndon. Aeroform has been tearing up wrestling having taken places like AAW, Dragon Gate USA and now Evolve Wrestling by storm. Shiima doesn’t want anybody taking away his steam, so he made a challenge for the 50th show, Aeroform VS. Shiima and a partner. We’ve been told the partner is Low Rider, a luchadore from the DTU promotion in Mexico. Having met Low Rider during travels thru DTU and AAA, Shiima feels he’s the perfect partner to face Aeroform and prove that he’s still the ultimate highflyer in AIW.
-CHASE BURNETT & ZANE SILVER VS. BEN FRUITH/COREY WINTERS!
Four AIW rookies took part in one of the most epic matches in AIW history at Hell On Earth 5 with Aeroform. Those four men once again will do battle with high stakes. While this match isn’t about hatred or bad blood or anything of the sort, all four men are fighting to the death. All four want to prove themselves to AIW, it’s fans and get into title contention. And they are willing to sacrifice to obtain their goals. Whoever wins this battle will be moving up the ranks of AIW, and the losers will have to fight for survival to stay on the AIW roster. For these four, there might not be any greater of reward.
-MARION FONTAINE ALSO IN ACTION!
Marion Fontaine who’s been in AIW for most of it’s history has been on a roll as of late. But Fontaine has had a interesting role as of late. Due to his veteran status as an AIW mainstay, People like John Kermon and Samuel Elias have come into AIW to make a name for themselves off of him. While Fontaine has been to defeat these challengers, there will come a time when he’s unable to. Without knowing who he’s going to face, Fontaine has no chance to study and prepare for the match. Fontaine will need to call upon his Mustache Power and defeat whoever is in his path.
