We are now just 6 days away from the highly anticipated AOD/CWE Power Struggle: 3 Year Anniversary Show event in Winnipeg, Manitoba! With an all-star line up of the who’s who in Central Canadian wrestling appearing, some big time matches, and former WWE Intercontinental champion Val Venis in action this show is sure setting the bar high to kick off 2012! Size Matters (Zack Mercury & The Axe) vs. The Murder City Saints (Nate Hardy & Darian Karisma)
With AOD/CWE hosting the largest and most competitive tag team division in the country the Murder City Saints after almost 3 years of demand finally made their debut in Canadian Wrestling’s Elite. The team was instantly a success overcoming the enormous team of Moses Luke & Sabretooth and going toe to toe with the Big Sexy Beasts in a match of the year candidate. Even when split up due to circumstance Nate Hardy made it to the final four in the 50 man Rumble to Remember and defeated Rick Matthews in singles action at Fan Appreciation Night. Darian Karisma was en route to singles success as well against the much larger Zack Mercury that night when Z-Merc got himself disqualified. The bell didn’t stop an angry Mercury who continued an assault on Karisma. When Hardy made the save for his opponent and looked to have fended off their attacker the 400 plus pound massive monster The Axe returned to professional wrestling and destroyed both men in act of complete carnage. Zack Mercury then explained that with his new attitude and approach there was nothing stopping him from getting to the top of CWE and that his old friend The Axe was there to ensure that be the case. Following the event the constant underdogs Hardy and Karisma issued a challenge to the two men for Power Struggle as they look for vengeance. With The Axe weighing more than the Saints combined Mercury and Axe confidently excepted the challenge. In a story very familiar to the Saints it will be David vs, Goliath on January 27th!

As memorable as each CWE event is the crazy after parties may be even more memorable! Each and every month CWE allows you the opportunity to party with the entire roster of AOD/CWE and this month that party will include former WWE IC champion Val Venis! Just last night former WWE World champions The Miz and Chris Jericho joined wrestling fans at the establishment and now the trend continues with The Big Valbowski!
