History was made at Atomic Championship Wrestling’s “Christmas Comes Early” this past Saturday night, December 5, 2009 at the Stevens Fire Hall in Stevens, Pennsylvania.
ACW crowned a NEW Heavyweight Champion, as well as giving out tons of toys to youngsters and collecting several boxes of food for a local food bank!
In a grudge match, James Justice got the victory over former partner Joey Mansoni
“The American Bully” James Dylan pinned Matt Walsh
Former WWE superstar The Patriot & Team Awesome’s Heavy D w/ACW Woman’s Champ Ashley Nicely & Big Jeff Kauffman defeated Mean Mark Mest & Core
Mac Robo & Kris Lasik beat Better Than You
ACW Welterweight Champion Pretty Fly w/ECW Hat Guy retained his title over Team Awesome’s Alan Cross w/ACW Woman’s Champ Ashley Nicely
In six-man tag action, Rockin Rebel, Shatter and G-Raver defeated Pretty Fly, Louis G. Rich and Greg Matthews
At intermission, Santa Claus, Rockin Rebel, Rizzo, Ashley Nicely, G-Raver and Shatter handed out toys to all of the youngsters.
In a four-way dance, Kitt beat Joe Ettell, Manny and James Justice
Rick Ryder & High Voltage (subbing for Kras Van Tassel) retained the ACW Tag Team straps over Moonshine Frank & Bubba Lucky
Magus scored the win over Hayne w/Rizzo in a coffin match
In the main event, Twisted Tate w/Rizzo captured the ACW Heavyweight Championship by pinning Simply Sexy Scotty Jeffreys after Rockin Rebel (with ref shirt on) counted the pin on Jeffreys. The entire ACW locker room paid tribute to Tate as his family presented him with a new ACW Heavyweight belt.
The next Atomic Championship Wrestling show will be held on Saturday night, March 13, 2010 as ACW Heavyweight Champion Twisted Tate w/Rizzo has granted Simply Sexy Scotty Jeffreys a rematch for the title.
