Expanding Company Brings Wrestling Back to Memphis TV

(Memphis, TN) – Professional wrestling fans in the Mid-South are once again able to wet their appetites for hard hitting action as TCW Wrestling is now on the air every Saturday night on WLMT CW 30.

Traditional Championship Wrestling (TCW) is an Arkansas-based wrestling company that has gained a nationwide following during the past 12 months with successful events throughout the state of Arkansas and the promotion of a live event as part of a recent Las Vegas wrestling convention. The addition of WLMT CW 30 to its roster of television outlets is the next step in the company’s expansion plans.

“We are excited to bring wrestling back to Memphis TV,” said Brian Thompson, senior member of TCW’s ownership team. “Memphis and the Mid-South have always had a rich wrestling tradition and TCW brings back the traditional style of professional wrestling that has always been extremely popular with the fans in this area.”

TCW’s show will air weekly on Saturday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be shown in high definition.

The company’s roster of professional wrestlers features a blend of legends and current superstars. Longtime fans will be familiar with names such as “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Matt “Boink the Clown” Borne, Disco Inferno, Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, among other marquee names that appear regularly for the company and will likely be on TCW TV. Fans will also enjoy the action featuring the stars of today such as TCW Champion Tim Storm, Matt Riviera, “King” Shane Williams, The Bradford Family, “Golden Boy” Greg Anthony, Genetic Perfection, Dustin Heritage, Lars Manderson and more.

“We are expanding fast and it’s great to have Memphis on board,” said Thompson. “We certainly want to thank WLMT CW-30 for being a great partner and helping make this union happen for both TCW fans and the viewers of the station.”
