– Ring of Honor debuts in Providence, RI on August 11th with “Boiling Point 2012” and officials have made a last minute decision to offer this event live on iPPV! We wanted to offer all of our great fans from around the world the chance to catch this event and now it is possible! In the main event, CHIKARA’s Grand Champion Eddie Kingston challenges for the ROH World Championship against Kevin Steen. The history between these 2 champions remains unsettled and has reached a boiling point that is impossible to control because the emotions involved are so strong. In addition, “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett & “The First Lady of Wrestling” Maria Kanellis battle “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards & “The Queen of Wrestling” Sara Del Rey in a mixed tag team match that everyone is talking about! And announced today, Roderick Strong and Mike Mondo will lock horns one-on-one!
– The entire “Boiling Point 2012” card is shaping up and is certainly an event worth catching because it will be HOT! And now we have opened up a limited few 1st & 2nd row tickets so make sure you act now before they’re gone again!!
– ROH returns to The Du Burns Arena in Baltimore on Friday night August 3rd for another set of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV Tapings and already announced are a World Title match between champion Kevin Steen & challenger Homicide, the opening round of the World Tag Title tournament, and Kyle O’Reilly taking on Tony Kozina. AND signed yesterday, ROH World TV Champion Adam Cole defends against “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin, “The Queen of Wrestling” Sara Del Rey vs. Princess Mia Yim, QT Marshall vs. Tadarius Thomas, and the 6 Man Mayhem match on August 3rd will determine the challenger for the ROH World TV Title on 9/15 when we return to Chicago Ridge for “Death Before Dishonor X”!
– The ROH World Tag Team Title Tournament is creating a major buzz and only 2 spots remain. So far the teams that have been announced are The Briscoes, The Young Bucks, BLKOUT, The Guardians of Truth, Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander, and The Bravado Brothers. The final 2 teams will be announced early next week at ROHWRESTLING.COM.
– This weekend’s episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV features the big ROH World Television Title contest between Roderick Strong and Adam Cole that is definitely a can’t miss match! – “Glory by Honor XI” is on Saturday, October 13th at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. We are in the process of making this event a great follow up to our last Canadian excursion and you will not be disappointed.
– Rhett Titus has said that he is going to create his own opportunities from now on and that was proven at “Brew City Beatdown” in Milwaukee when Titus stepped up to defend honor against Kevin Steen and Jimmy Jacobs during a post match beatdown on Mark & Jay Briscoe. Even though it looks like Titus’ attention is focused on S.C.U.M, he is also extremely interested on regaining the tag titles that he never lost. ROH officials recognize the situation and rumor has it that they have left a spot open for him in the upcoming tag tournament.
