Dragon Gate USA kicks off the summer spectacular doubleshot tonight in the Detroit area and it continues tomorrow in Chicago. There will be tickets available at the door for both events. Go to the DGUSA.tv Live Events section for building, belltime and other info.

Jon Davis is faced with the biggest match of his DGUSA career tomorrow in Chicago when he faces former Open The Freedom Gate Champion YAMATO. Can he beat someone the stature of YAMATO? Here are some words from Davis about the importance of this match:

We can confirm that Open The Freedom Gate Champion Johnny Gargano’s contract expires this weekend. DGUSA officials will sit down with Gargano this afternoon to try to hammer out an extension. This makes tonight’s Title Match vs. Akira Tozawa very interesting.
