– This Saturday in Charlotte is “Caged Hostility” and the anticipation is high! The windup promises to be a match that you will never forget as ROH World Champion Kevin Steen, Jimmy Jacobs, and Steve Corino battle Rhett Titus & The Briscoes in a 6-Man Steel Cage War! This will be nuts! In addition to this great main event, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly will battle one more time in a match that could easily steal the show! Also don’t forget that Jay & Mark Briscoe, as well as Rhett Titus, will be on hand prior to the start of the event to sign autographs but also at intermission, you will then have the opportunity to meet Jay Lethal and ROH’s Backstage Correspondent Veda Scott for another autograph signing! What a night!
– Speaking of “Caged Hostility”, newcomer Adam Page has one of the biggest opportunities of his young career this Saturday as he faces Jay Lethal. Lethal has an amazing win-loss record in ROH and if Page is able to upset the former ROH TV Champion… he will surely secure a spot on the full-time ROH roster. Page is only 21 years old and hungry to prove that he is the future of professional wrestling. Keep your eye on this one!
– Ring of Honor’s New Jersey return on October 6th is scheduled to be a big time event and, if you are in the area, it is in your best interest to get your tickets NOW. Jim Cornette and ROH officials are planning on signing a challenger for the ROH World Title this Saturday in Charlotte! “We will see who shows me something this weekend.” stated Cornette, “Whoever impresses me the most in Charlotte will get the match. It is as simple as that.” It will be very interesting to see what develops this weekend as it will, no question, influence the main event of this Rahway mega event. Don’t be left out and get your tickets right here to experience ROH live and in person!
– Two big announcements about “Death Before Dishonor X” were unveiled today and one of them will have a direct impact on “Survival of the Fittest 2012”. First, in lieu of Tommaso Ciampa’s injury, the previously announced Tadarius Thomas vs. Silas Young match-up will now be for the 11th spot in the tourney and the 12th & final entrant will also be named live on iPPV that night! Also, Jay Lethal & Homicide will now go one-on-one on September 15th as Lethal attempts to prove he has that killer instinct Jim Cornette is looking for in a World Title challenger!
– The latest edition of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV is now available to all Ringside Members! The ROH World Tag Team Title Tournament continues as Rhett Titus & Charlie Haas face the Guardians of Truth and Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino battle the Bravado Brothers. In addition Jay Lethal faces Matt Taven and much more!
– Truth Martini has informed us that Roderick Strong is no longer on House of Truth strike and will definitely team with Michael Elgin against Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin this Saturday in Charlotte. More details on what persuaded Strong back to The House soon.
– “The Sicilian Psychopath” Tommaso Ciampa’s knee injury is rumored to be worse than expected, however The Barrister R.D. Evans continues to refuse the release of Ciampa’s medical records. We will continue to provide updates on Ciampa to the best of our ability.
– Eddie Edwards is off to Japan tomorrow to participate in the Pro Wrestling NOAH 6th annual NTV Cup Jr. Heavyweight Tag League starting on September 8th and ending the 22nd. Edwards will team with Bobby Fish in this year’s tournament and we wish both men the best of luck! Edwards will return to ROH on October 6th in Rahway when he teams with Adam Cole in a first time ever match against The Briscoes!
– This weekend on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV the main event features a giant ROH Television Title match as current champion Adam Cole will defend against “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin! In addition, the ROH World Tag Team Title Tournament continues with The Briscoes facing BLK OUT (Ruckus & Jeez) in the final first round match. Plus “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett vs. Mike Sydal, Tommaso Ciampa vs. Mike Posey, and much more!
– The Ring Of Honor Dojo, under head trainer DELIRIOUS, will be starting new classes during the week of October 22nd, 2012 and spots are filling up! You never know what ROH star will pop in and out of the Dojo from time to time. For more information on The Dojo and upcoming classes please e-mail rohdojo@gmail.com. For those of you interested, but who can’t make the October sessions, expect a new class to start around 4 months after this.
