Power Trip Wrestling announce new working agreement with well known professional footballer, and a show in Liverpool on Sat 26th June 2010
There has been a lot of rumour and speculation around Power Trip Wrestling recently, and it appears to have been well founded. We can now happily bring you the following groundbreaking news, that we know will cause a stir both in the professional wrestling business, and in professional football also.
Power Trip Wrestling are extremely proud to welcome to our family, lifelong Luton Town FC fan, and former England ‘C’, Luton Town, Rushden, and currently playing at Mansfield; Andy Burgess. Andy is joining Power Trip Wrestling as Events Co-Ordinator, with particular emphasis on the North of England.
When reached for a quote, PTW’s talent relations, Petey Staniforth was quoted as saying, “We are honoured to have someone like Andy Burgess on board. Andy is thought of very highly amongst Luton Town fans, as in many ways, he is simply one of our own. With regards to professional wrestling, many footballers are fans of our business, and Andy has always been quite vocal about his love of watching it. We now have the opportunity to put our heads together, and take Power Trip Wrestling to a whole new nationwide level. After having been on national television twice last year, on both Sky Digital, and BBC2, I had wondered how I could take PTW up another notch on the ladder; I won’t deny that. Andy is a big part of our plans to do just that, and I’m thrilled to welcome Andy to Power Trip Wrestling, both as a personal friend of mine, and as a work colleague. And I promise you, in regards to announcments in regards to PTW as a whole; there’s a lot more to come. “
And breaking news related to this deal, is that Power Trip Wrestling’s first show in this working relationship; will be on Saturday 26th June 2010, as PTW are going to bring ‘The Promotion The Competition Doesn’t Want You To See’, all the way up to Liverpool!
