EVOLVE 18 will take place on December 8th at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, just over the bridges from Philadelphia. It is a special 4pm EST. start due to being a double header with CZW Cage Of Death (both events are a separate ticket). This means you can come to this first class facility and see two unique brands in one day! If you live in New York City and don’t feel like driving check out Tickets for EVOLVE are now on sale in the Store or by calling 267-519-9744. You can also pre-order the EVOLVE live iPPV at at a discount of $8.99 for the live showing only or $11.99 for the live showing & unlimited on demand access until this Monday at midnight EST. Now let’s get to the lineup….

Due to popular demand the main event has been changed. Your voice has been heard. It will now be Johnny Gargano vs. Sami Callihan for the Open The Freedom Gate Title at EVOLVE 18. Surprisingly, Jon Davis took getting bumped out of the title match fine. “I understand how it is,” Davis said. “The fans, Gargano, it’s all politics. This is just more fuel to the fire. I want the two wins, anyway. I’ll get it, because my name is Jon Davis and I’m gonna beat the hell of you.”

Davis is referring to the fact that there will be four first-time-ever singles matches at EVOLVE 18: Garagano vs. Callihan. The four winners will then take part in a Four Way Freestyle later in the card. This means that a lone competitor will gain two wins in one day. This is key as the Road To WrestleCon is underway and heading towards the EVOLVE Title tournament on April 5th. Records will determine the seeding and if an athlete is even included in the tourney. Here are the four matches set for December 8th:

-Chuck Taylor vs. Jon Davis
-AR Fox vs. Tony Nese
-Jigsaw vs. Rich Swann
-Masada vs. Papadon

-All winners will face off in a Four Way Freestyle later in the card. We will have much more on these matches in the upcoming weeks.

These bouts complete the EVOLVE 18 card, which already features El Generico & Samuray Del Sol vs. The Super Smash Brothers. We do need to state that there will be no ticket discounts for this event so if you are waiting for a sale there won’t be one. There are only a few first row reserved tickets left and you can get them now in the Store or by calling 267-519-9744. Thank you for your support and we hope you will join us for the last EVOLVE event of 2012.

CHIKARA sent this in.

Last week, we blew away the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, and just days ago, we blew the roof off New York City’s Highline Ballroom – now our season end blow-out is almost here – everything in Season 11 has been building to this moment: “Under the Hood,” at the Trocadero Theatre, live on iPPV! Thanks to our pals Smart Mark Video, you can watch it live on IPPV via for only $16.99. Don’t forget – all kids 12 and under are admitted free to the event with a paying adult! Here are the announced matches for our Philadelphia homecoming event:

Order “Under the Hood”:

1) For the Young Lions Cup!
-ACH took “Mr. Touchdown” Mark Angelosetti to the limit when they met in the finals of the 10th annual Young Lions Cup. The athletic display beacme an instant classic, coronated by a long standing ovation from the entire Indianapolis audience that saw the spectacle and the crowning of a champion. On that day, Mark Angelosetti was the better man, but ACH came within a heartbeat of winning the Cup – can he fulfill his dream on December 2nd in Philadelphia? The world will know the answer when pro-wrestling’s two hottest up-and-comers lock up once again at “Under the Hood”!

2) Who Leaves with a Title Shot?
-CHIKARA currently has a logjam as two teams of former champions with unsettled business look to capture the all-elusive third point to earn a title bout. Both teams currently hold two points, and will face off in Philadelphia – 3.0 (Shane Matthews & Scott “Jagged” Parker) collides with F.I.S.T. (Johnny Gargano & Chuck Taylor) at The Trocadero and one will leave with a title shot…while the other loses everything.

3) The War to Settle the Score!
-As much success as The Spectral Envoy (Ultramantis Black, Hallowicked, and Frightmare) has enjoyed in 2012 they have been met at every turn with chaos and opposition at the hands of The Batiri (Obariyon, Kodama, and Kobald), Ophidian, and their twisted leader Delirious. Crossbones has been named as one of the two to team up with The Spectral Envoy; but the Envoy still needs to find one more ally to thwart their opponents at “Under the Hood”… who will UltraMantis unearth to aid him in his hour of need?

4) Campeonatos de Parejas: Best 2 out of 3 Falls!
-At “The Cibernetico Rises” two legends of the ring, the 1-2-3 Kid & Marty Jannetty, teamed up once again and captured the pivotal third point needed for a shot at CHIKARA’s coveted Campeonatos de Parejas. The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) have spent time training under these former World Wrestling Federation tag team champions, but the brash Jackson brothers seem to have little regard or respect for their legendary mentors. Will it be time for the experience and savvy of Kid and Jannetty to prevail over the youthful cockiness of the Bucks?

5) For the Grand Championship of CHIKARA!
-The 9th annual Torneo Cibernetico ended with Tim Donst not just defeating Eddie Kingston, but humiliating our Grand Champion before the sold-out crowd in his hometown! Now Donst has eyes set on the richest of prizes – Eddie Kingston must defend our Grand Championship as the world watches live on iPPV!
