Ohio vs. Michigan: Al Snow w/Head vs. ?Amazing? N8 Mattson
Mattson has become infamous as a Michigan elitist, constantly proclaiming the superiority of his home state, and denouncing anything involving Ohio, even going as far as convincing his prot?g? ?Big Bear? Benjamin Boone to move from Ohio to Detroit. Mattson’s pro-Michigan propaganda was halted earlier this year due to a freak injury, but during his time off Mattson had forgotten a series of open contracts he had issued challenging ANYONE from Ohio to a battle of territorial supremacy. During Mattson’s time off, one legendary Ohio native rose up to the challenge – Lima, Ohio’s Al Snow. Snow, along with longtime sidekick Head, were proud to fight for the Buckeye State as the battled Michigan’s most abrasive resident. Who won this battle of state-wide pride? Find out this weekend.
Pirate Rules: ?Bloody? Morty Rackem vs. Matthew Justice
The duo known as ?Pirate Justice? were once the most popular and successful tag team in Pro Wrestling Ohio, but philosophical differences drove them apart. Matthew Justice was a competitor through and through, wanting his abilities to speak for themselves as he attempted to ascend the ladder to greater heights. Rackem, however, reverted to his pirate-like tendencies, a win-at-all-costs motto, oftentimes involving bending and outright breaking of the rules, most notable the use of Rackem’s steel-studded belt. Justice’s constant moral high ground, led to a frustrated Rackem assaulting his then-partner after a match, and violently choking Justice out with the aforementioned belt. The rift between the two is now irreparable, and in this battle, with relaxed rules and almost anything legal, one man will bring their own brand of justice.
Irish Airborne vs. Eric Ryan & Corey Winters
Irish Airborne, Dave & Jake Crist, perhaps the most prolific and decorated tag team in the state of Ohio in recent years finally make their PWO debut as a tag team. Jake Crist has seen success in Pro Wrestling Ohio in the past as a former co-holder of the PWO Tag Team Titles, however has never tagged with brother Dave in PWO until now. The opposition, one of PWO’s most promising upstart teams, Corey Winters & Eric Ryan. A win by Ryan & Winters will be without a doubt the biggest achievement in each man’s young career, however Irish Airborne look to make a big time impact in their PWO debut.
