Enforced Changes To Show : Power Trip Wrestling present ‘Family Business’, Sunday 6th September 2009, Corby, Northamptonshire.
Here at the PTW Office, we’re currently listening to the new album by the Insane Clown Posse, entitled ‘Bang! Pow! Boom!’, so you can gauge our mood already! But, at PTW, we’re used to the unlikely and the unexpected happening at a moment’s notice, and we need a suitable soundtrack to work alongside!
Yesterday, we had a lot of talent pull out of the show, from reasons including transport, and illness. We also lost the services on Sunday’s show, of PTW’s World Champion Conor Hurley, due to a family bereavement; and our hearts and prayers go out to Conor right now from his ‘PTW Family’.
But this is Power Trip Wrestling. And much to the disapproval of the self important ‘establishment’ of British Wrestling, we can not and will not be held down. So, we’ve had a little bit of a rebook of the card and the matches, made some changes, brought in some talent; and the show is still very much going ahead.
We could ignore what happened yesterday, not tell you, and just pretend like it happened on the day of the show. But we don’t play that way at PTW, as we believe in keeping you – the fans – as informed as possible on what’s going on, and what you’re going to see. Why? Because we care what the fans think. So sit back, and here’s the changes!
