Ontario fans will have plenty to choose from to get their indy wrestling fix this weekend.
On Friday, BSE Pro debuts in Wasaga Beach at the Wasaga Dome. In ladies action, TNA Knockouts Traci Brooks, So Cal Val and Angelina Love appear, along with BSE’s ‘Au Naturelle’ Kelly Couture. Also appearing will be Big Brian Youngblood, Vlad the Penetrator, and former WWE personality Jason Sensation.
BSE’s second weekend show is on Sunday in Brampton at the Terry Miller Rec Centre. This show features a Suicide Six Pack championship match with Xtremo defending against Anthony Fiasco, El Tornado, Cody 45, Big Brian Youngblood and Franky the Mobster. In other action, The All-Starters defend their tag belts against Assulat & Battery in a no-DQ affair. Also, a tournament pits the company’s rookies against its seasoned veterans – matches include Kris Chambers against Boris Brezhnev and The Sultan Ali Atish against Kobra Kai. Wrestling Supershow presents “The Final Showdown” this Friday at the Earl Armstrong Arena in Ottawa. In what is being billed as Abdullah the Butcher’s last appearance in Ottawa, he teams up with his frequent rival Hannibal against a mystery team. On Saturday in Rockland, Canadian Sports Entertainment holds “Global Warming” at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The Asian Nightmare Kwan Chang takes on Michael Von Payton.
Also on Saturday, The Chic Murray Arena at the Burnhamthorpe Community Centre in Mississauga Ontario hosts Pro Wrestling Riot. Canadian Crazy Horse Michael Elgin, Ashley Sixx (formerly Ash), Rip Impact and Scotty O’Shea appear.
Attending the Tillsonburg fair on Saturday also gets you admittance to Classic Championship Wrestling’s show which is being held in the fairgrounds Grand Stand. Cody Deaner takes on Jake O’Reilly in a steel cage, Dangerboy Derek Wylde faces Pepper Parks in a Last Man Standing Match. WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka will be competing in the main event.
