Whitby, ON — The Ontario based Apocalypse Wrestling Federation has announced
it’s third entrant into the prestigious AWF Class Act Invitational Pro-Wrestling
Tournament to be held at the AWF Action Centre in Whitby on Sun. April 25.
Joining the already announced Zaquary Springate III and Jonny Puma will be the
only wrestler ever to hold both the heavyweight championship of Quebec and the
Apocalypse Wrestling Federation title concurrently — Montreal, Quebec based
JACKAL!
Jackal, the third announced entrant, is perhaps the wrestler that the AWF
champion Don Paysan is most leery of meeting in the tournament. If Jackal can
make it to the final and into that afternoon’s championship match against Paysan
it will be the only wrestler announced so far that has actually faced Paysan in
in-ring competition on previous occassions albeit not in an Apocalypse Wrestling
Federation ring.
In addition to Jackal’s familiarity with Paysan the much more experienced Jackal
is no stranger to the gruelling AWF Tournament formats having, himself, captured
the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation championship by winning the AWF’s only other
single day elimination tournament at AWF Chaos in 2002. On that fateful
afternoon in 2002 Jackal bested four men, Danny Dynamic, James Champagne,
Piranha and Joey Knight to walk away with his first taste of Apocalypse
Wrestling Federation gold.
Can history repeat itself 8 years later on Sunday April 25, 2010 at the AWF
Action Centre in Whitby?
Can Jackal reclaim the AWF title?
As the only single elimination tournament winner in the promotions long history
Jackal is betting that he can.

RYOT video Not For the Squeamish!
The Apocalypse Wrestling Federation is urging that viewer discretion is advised for anybody who checks out it’s website (www.AWFaction.com) for a new horror themed video up on it’s home page promoting the debut of a massive AWF newcomer scheduled to appear at AWF 2010: A Wrestling Odyssey in Whitby, On on Sun. April 25, 2010.
Not a lot is currently known about the latest entry into the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation’s AWF Class Act Invitational Tournament however the 6′ 6″, 265 lb. behemoth known as RYOT is certainly looking to change that by the time the final bell rings to signify the end of the AWF’s April 25 matinee show at Class Act Dinner Theatre (104 Consumers Drive, Whitby, ON, CANADA).
RYOT is hoping that the end of the Invitational Tournament will also see the end of many Apocalypse Wrestling Federation fan favourites and newcomers as well as the end of AWF champion Don Paysan’s run atop of the promotion as it’s champion. And this huge grappler is hoping that it is him that brings the curtain down on some of the AWF’s most popular stars and walks out of Class Act as the new AWF champion!
Of the 5 competitors announced so far for the 8 man competition RYOT certainly has to be among the early favourites based on just size and psychological mind games alone. The AWF website video featuring RYOT is bone chilling and disturbing and probably brings to mind more questions then it answers for both Apocalypse Wrestling Federation fans and competitors alike.
However size and mind games alone won’t be enough to reach the pinnacle of the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation and RYOT will be finding that out in a hurry on April 25. The Apocalypse Wrestling Federation prides itself on showcasing some of the very best wrestlers on the Canadian Independent wrestling scene and our grapplers come in all shapes and sizes and are among the very best in the entire wrestling world!
It is with this thought in mind that RYOT must enter the AWF. This impressive psychopath will find that our grapplers always have their game faces on and always bring it no matter the opposition!

The CLUB STUDD Will Be in the House April 25!

One of the most charismatic performers ever to step between the ropes of an Apocalypse Wrestling Federation ring, “The Club Studd” TONY MACK, will return to the AWF on Sunday April 25, 2010 when the AWF kicks off it’s 2010 season at the AWF Action Centre (inside Class Act Dinner Theatre, 104 Consumers Drive, Whitby, Ontario) at 2 pm.
Although it is not known at this time whether the Club Studd plans to actually get back into the heat of the action of the federation he
dominated 10 years ago when he captured the AWF championship off of Fuego one thing is for certain, whenever Tony Mack is in the house it is always a party!
Representing the AWF the Club Studd was as well received by thousands of wrestling fans in Yokohama, Japan as he was in the wilds of Scarborough, Ontario back in the day.
On Sunday April 25th, the Club Studd returns to get the party started once again at the AWF Action Centre in Whitby!
Tony, who lovingly describes his fans as his “Ginos and Ginettes”, looks forward to seeing his old friends at the Action Centre and meeting new ones when the bell gongs to start the action promptly at 2 PM that Sunday.
