Guelph, Ontario are you ready? Guelph, Ontario the PWA wants to know are you ready?
Well we definitely hope so! On June 20th the Pure Wrestling Association makes its return to GUELPH!! The Shelldale Community Centre, located 20 Shelldale Cresent, will be rocking Saturday night when the doors open @ 7:00PM for the beginning of a great live professional wrestling event.
Our main event on the evening will be Geza Kalman the current Pure Wrestling Champion taking on Warhed the former 4 X Pure Violence Champion and a staple in the Guelph Pro Wrestling community. This contest will be for Geza’s Pure Wrestling Championship if he can retain in his match with Scott Chase. However due to the fact that it is very possible Geza could be the former Champion when he comes to Guelph, Commissioner Daryl Porteous has decided that regardless this will be a match fought under Pure Violence Rules! So the fans will not be disappointed if it is not a title fight.
Misty Haven will also be in action against Guelph’s own Addy Starr. You can bet your last dollar that Addy will do everything she possibly can to win in front of her friends and family! Will the youngster be able to pull off the upset and defeated the former 2 X Elite Womens Champion?
?The Last Persian Warrior? Rahim Ali has issued a challenge to ?Big Ticket? Reggie Marley for this event and it was accepted immediately by the best dressed man in professional wrestling. Marley and Rahim has the potential to still the show!
Juan Ortiz will also be in action as he will go one on one with The Rush! Rush is improving every single time he steps into the ring and if he pulls the upset win over Juan Ortiz not only will it boost his confidence it will also make him a contender in the company! This match could be the break Rush is looking for!
Eric Cairnie and Tommy Ryder have told S.W.O.O.S.H. to find a friend and they would take them on in Tagteam Action. Birdman SWOOSH’s regular partner cannot make it to this event so now we will have to wait and see who will team with him to take on the Young Lions.
Michael Von Payton will get a big time opportunity to move closer to his goal of being Pure Wrestling Champion. How you ask? Well MVP will be battling Super Kamikaze for the Internet Championship! The Internet Champion has always been considered a contender for the richest Prize in the company. Will the technical wizard be able to ground the high flying Super Kamikaze? Will the speed of Super Kamikaze be the difference in this contest? Is the power advantage the straw that will break the back of Super Kamikaze and his undefeated 2009 campaign? Find out as this Main Event caliber match takes place June 20th in Guelph at the Shelldale Centre.
Plus Eddie Osbourne the current Pure Violence Champion will do battle with ?Canadian Crazyhorse? Michael Elgin in what will be a hard hitting affair!
And in the biggest contest of the evening by far; the Pure Wrestling Association, and its fans take on Hunger! Show your support for the community and help put a Headlock on Hunger! Bring a non-perishable food item to help out, and you will also be rewarded with a chance to win great merchandise and prizes! The PWA and Food Bank thank all the great fans of Guelph in advance for their support on this community issue that we can pin to the canvas!
