New Japan Pro Wrestling returning to Jingu Stadium for the first time since 1999

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced they are returning to Jingu Stadium for the Summer Struggle event on August 29.

Jingu Stadium, which is an outdoor venue, has a capacity of 37,933. However, the number of fans attending will be lower due to social distancing.

The last time NJPW held a stadium show was on August 28, 1999 with the Battle Of The Summer event.  That event featured very wild no-rope, barbed wire, barricade, explosive landmine double hell death match between The Great Muta and The Great Nita.
