New Japan Pro Wrestling has confirmed in a statement that EVIL is leaving the company when his contract expires “at the end of January 2026.”
The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion was recently featured at Wrestle Kingdom 20 when he defended his NEVER Openweight Championship against the debuting Olympic judo athlete Aaron Wolf.
The news comes as speculation continues on where EVIL may be headed next, with recent reports suggesting he may be on his way to WWE.
