Ring of Honor issued the following statement to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com on Friday regarding recent allegations made on social media against new ROH Champion Jay Lethal by former ROH and Impact star Taeler Hendrix.

“We were troubled to hear the allegations that surfaced last night on Twitter. We take these matters very seriously and will be investigating this situation thoroughly, reviewing all evidence related to the matter. Ring of Honor strives to provide an environment and workplace where male and female wrestlers are free from any misconduct or abuse. We will take appropriate action upon the conclusion of our findings.”

Hendrix took to Twitter on Wednesday and in response to a fan, alleged that she was let go from ROH in early 2017 after denying an advance by Lethal to sleep with her.

Hendrix then issued a statement on Wednesday night, announcing that an investigation into the matter is ongoing through her attorneys.

Hendrix had been with ROH since 2015 as a manager to Lethal as part of Truth Martini’s House of Truth faction during Lethal’s first ROH title reign. Hendrix also competed in the reboot of ROH’s Women of Honor division before her departure.

Lethal has not commented on the allegations made as of this writing, although Impact star Sonjay Dutt, who is one of Lethal’s longtime friends, did make the following comment on Twitter on Wednesday night after news of the allegations broke.
