At the press conference for tonight’s New Japan G-1 Special airing live on AXS TV from the Cow Palace in San Francisco, New Japan Pro Wrestling president Harold Meij announced that NJPW would be returning to the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California for “Fighting Spirit Unleashed” on September 30.
It was also announced by Meij that there will be two shows in November entitled “Lion’s Break” at the Anaheim Convention Center featuring young lions from New Japan’s recently re-opened dojo in Los Angeles.
This will be New Japan’s third show in the US this year and the second show at the Walter Pyramid, with “Strong Style Evolved” taking place there back in March.
While not announced, the show will likely be once again a live special airing on AXS TV.
