According to a report Tuesday in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune, a search warrant indicates Verne Gagne may have attacked other patients at the same facility where he attacked a 97 year old man, who later died. Helmut Guttman died on February 14 following a January 26 attack by Gagne. The death was ruled a homicide, but no charges have been filed at this time. The Guttman family has maintained they have no desire to press charges against Gagne due to his mental capacity. However, if evidence of prior incidents involving Gagne, who was discharged from the Friendship Village facility following the altercation with Guttman, are documented on record, the institution could become the target of the investigation.

Nicolas Cage told Access Hollywood that, despite reports he was removed from the role of Randy the Ram in ?the Wrestler?, he instead turned down the role. He said, ?I resigned from the movie because I didn?t think I had enough time to achieve the look of the wrestler who was on steroids, which I would never do.?

Phil Hunnicutt has replaced J.J. Biello as Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. Cary Ichter is now the Vice Chairman. Unfortunately, there is still no resolution on tighter regulations for wrestling in the state, but Biello was arguably the biggest opponent.

?Farewell 2 Legends? takes place at the Dothan Civic Center in Dothan, AL, on May 29. Advertised: Harley Race, Ken Lucas, Bob Armstrong, Jerry Stubbs, Robert Fuller, Jimmy Golden, and Boris Zhukov. It is being advertised as the final Dothan appearance for Armstrong and Stubbs, and will be taped for future online broadcasting.
