As we had previously reported yesterday, Tenille Dashwood (former WWE star Emma) announced at Saturday night’s TV tapings in Las Vegas she has been wrestling the past six months with a legitimate shoulder injury that will require surgery.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, despite the injury and needed surgery, Dashwood has been offered a Ring of Honor contract and the injury is not expected to change the status of the contract offer that she is expected to sign very soon.
Dashwood wrestled at the Death Before Dishonor PPV on Friday in Las Vegas, losing to Women of Honor World Champion Sumie Sakai. The match focused on Dashwood’s shoulder being worked over by Sakai with Dashwood passing out in a submission hold leading to the referee stopping the match.
