Disney's "Jungle Cruise"

Dwyane “The Rock Johnson” took to his Twitter on Saturday posting a very short video revealing the new official release date for Disney’s newest adventure film “Jungle Cruise” as July 24, 2020.

According to a recent report from Screen Crush, the movie was originally scheduled for release October 11, 2019.  Also according the same report, no official reason was given for the change for the release date other than the studio possibly wanting to give the film a summer release.  Another possibly is director Jaume Collet-Serra could need extra time for post editing.

The movie, which Johnson finished filming last month is based on a Disneyland ride with the same name will feature Johnson as the captain of a small riverboat that takes travelers through a jungle filled with dangerous animals and reptiles.  Staring alongside Johnson is Emily Blunt and Jesse Plemons.
