“The Road To WrestleMania” is in full swing now, after the wrestling world is coming off the heels off of the WWE No Way Out Pay-Per-View. The Mayhem’s National WWE PPV Correspondent team of Scott Hudson, Jim Molineaux, & The History Of WWE.com’s Graham Cawthon will join the show to discuss all of the aftermath of the last World Wrestling Entertainment PPV prior to “The Showcase Of The Immortals.” Triple H outlasted five other SmackDown superstars to become the WWE Champion, and despite “The Rated-R Superstar” losing his gold, he made a surprising splash in the second Elimination Chamber Match of the night…and in the process captured the World Heavyweight Championship. Plus, “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton survived the onslaught of Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred Match, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels was victorious in his attempt to get his freedom from JBL, & Jack Swagger triumphed over Finlay to retain his ECW Championship. The night’s festivities from The Key Arena in Seattle, WA will be up for discussion, in addition to all of the early rumblings on the 2009 WWE Draft (on April 13th in Atlanta, GA), the latest on the status of MyNetworkTV leading into the coming months ahead (and if the WWE SmackDown brand will be affected), Christian’s WWE return last Tuesday night on ECW On Sci-Fi & what lies ahead for him leading into the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania, the continued back & forth online war of words between Matt Hardy & former WWE superstar, Paul London, the television debut of TJ Wilson, plus so much more! As part of our fallout coverage of WWE’s No Way Out, we will be giving away an official Monday Night Mayhem/WWE prize pack, featuring a DVD copy of the all-new “Best Of Saturday Night’s Main Event” DVD (courtesy: www.TicketRelief.com), plus an official MNM T-Shirt. Former WWE/ECW/WCW superstar & former NWA World Tag Team Champion, Johnny Swinger, will step into The Mayhem’s squared circle LIVE! The former “Johnny Parisi” will give his first public comments since departing World Wrestling Entertainment in the summer of 2006. What has Swinger been up to since leaving the WWE? And is a return to TNA in order for the Western New York native? Swinger will answer these questions & many more, as well give his thoughts on “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge’s rise to stardom & Christian re-signing with the WWE. Another exclusive that can only be found on the President’s Day edition of Monday Night Mayhem!

The biggest movie event of the year is this Sunday night (February 22nd), and the question on the minds of fans around the world this week is: Will Mickey Rourke capture the Academy Award for “Best Actor” for his spectacular & moving performance as Randy “The Ram” Robinson in Darren Aronofsky’s “The Wrestler.” The Los Angeles Times’ Scott Feinberg will join The Mayhem Crew to discuss the chances of Rourke walking home with his first Oscar, as well as give his thoughts of whether or not the rumors swirling around Rourke’s projected involvement at WrestleMania XXV (w/Chris Jericho) could cost him the gold. What do the Hollywood insiders & Rourke’s colleagues in Hollywood think of him appearing at Reliant Stadium on April 5th? Check out Chris’ official blog (“The Feinberg Files”), located at www.TheEnvelope.com, as well as the live Oscar telecast on ABC (beginning @ 8PM ET/5PM PT).

And if you loved Eric Nies’ appearance two weeks ago on the program, then you are indeed in for a treat! One of the stars of VH-1’s hit reality program, “Confessions Of A Teen Idol,” Jeremy Jackson will join The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network to discuss the success of his latest project, in addition to his memories of being a part of the mega-hit TV show “Baywatch.” Log onto Jeremy’s official MySpace page @ www.MySpace.com/JeremyJackson, and head on over to Jeremy’s blog/profile on VH-1’s Famous Friends, where you can interact with “Mr. MySpace” himself!
