The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis first appeared at Ring of Honor Wrestling with his best friend Marty Scurll at SuperCard of Honor in the spring of 2018.
This past Saturday night, The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion brought the Ten Pounds of Gold to Lakeland Florida event to discuss the 2019 Crockett Cup.
Nick Aldis went to the thing to talk about the idea of him entering the Crockett Cup and it appeared his partner was to be The Villain Marty Scurll.
What happened next surprised not only the fans of ROH in Lakeland but the reigning NWA World Champion Nick Aldis.
The NWA and Ring of Honor are partnering to present the 2019 Crockett Cup in Concord, NC on April 27. The tag team tournament will feature teams from both organizations while also including teams from CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The event will be held at Legend’s Bar in Manhattan from 10p-2a EST, and tickets go on sale this Sunday night at Midnight EST, immediately following the Elimination Chamber pay per view.
