On Thursday’s edition of the NoseBleed Section, John Cannon and Joe Cowart welcomed wrestling legend ?Russian Bear? Ivan Koloff, who discussed paying dues in the territories, mixing it up with Bruno Sammartino, wrestling old favorites such as Mike Jackson and the Mulkeys. He also told stories about Monday nights at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, and talked about his book Is that Wrestling Fake? the Bear Facts, the Bear Witness Ministries, and his upcoming appearances at the return of NWA Charlotte and the 1st Annual Ivan Koloff Tag Team Tournament. The lineup for tonight’s SmackDown broadcast on MyNetwork TV, from World Wrestling Entertainment, is as follows: Shelton Benjamin versus the Undertaker; Chavo Guerrero, Jr. versus the Great Khali; Michelle McCool & Natalya versus the Bella Twins; Matt Hardy versus Edge; John Morrison & the Miz versus Carlito & Primo Colon; and Triple H versus Vladimir Kozlov & the Big Show in a handicap match.

Tickets for the following WWE events go on sale Saturday: February 21, at the Viking Hall Civic Center in Bristol, TN; March 1, at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

WWE has announced the following events: February 19, SmackDown at Plazas De Toros La Luz in Leon, MX; March 9, RAW/ECW at the Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL; and March 16, RAW/ECW at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX.

WWE has cancelled the event that was to be held in Tijuana, MX, on February 18, due to slow ticket sales.

According to Jim Ross? blog, WWE will be returning to taping SmackDown on a weekly basis, working the same events as the ECW crew, after WrestleMania. The new program for WGN America, called WWE Superstars, will be taped on Mondays prior to the live RAW broadcasts.

Total Nonstop Action results from the house show at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, UK, on January 22: Alex Shelley over Eric Young, Jay Lethal, and Consequences Creed in a four-way to retain the TNA X Division Title; Abyss over Sheik Abdul Bashir; Taylor Wilde & ODB over the Beautiful People; Brutus Magnus over Matt Morgan, with interference by Abyss; Team 3D over Beer Money in a street fight; Samoa Joe over Doug Williams; and Jeff Jarrett & A.J. Styles over Kurt Angle & Scott Steiner.

Tickets for the following TNA events go on sale Saturday: March 13, at the Paroquet Springs Center in Shepherdsville, KY; March 14, at the Cincinnati Gardens Arena in Cincinnati, OH; March 26, at the Swiftel Center in Brookings, SD; and March 27, at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, MN.

Ring of Honor has added two matches to their event in Chicago Ridge, IL, on January 31. Nigel McGuinness will defend the ROH World Heavyweight Title against El Generico, and Rhett Titus takes on Grizzly Redwood. Also, for Orlando, FL, on February 7, a match has been announced featuring Rhett Titus & Kenny King versus the British Lions.

Alternative Pro Wrestling returns to Royston, GA, tonight at the Royston Gym, on Cherry Street behind Royston Elementary School, at 8pm with another stop on the road to “Friday the 13th.” Advertised: North Georgia Champion Chris King defend against Dustin Michaels in the 3rd contest between these two competitors, Anthony Henry & Brandon Parker face off with former APW tag champions The Franchise (Matt Sells & Ryan Michaels) with a title shot at “Friday the 13th” on the line, JT Talent invites a very special guest to the Talent Show, “Merciless” Don Matthews finally squares off with The Royston Brawler John Carnage, Southern States Champion “King” Seth Delay & Jeremy Vain (with Taco Delgado) take on “Unstoppable” Shadow Jackson and a mystery partner.

APW’s next big show is “Friday the 13th” on February 13.

Action Packed Wrestling will be at the APW Arena in Chester, SC, tonight.

Division One Pro Wrestling will be at the Boulevard Heights Community Center in Hollywood, FL, tonight.

Pro Wrestling Eklipse will be at the Jo Bob’s Gym in Zephyrhills, FL, tonight.

Street Bandit, w/Short Bandit, defeated Suicidal Youth. “Dark Personality” Mr. Personality & Dynamite Doug defeated BTY & Ryan Holland. “The Golden One” Aaron Idol defeated Michael Steele by DQ. The Untouchables defeat Lane Smart & Confederate Kid to become the new tag champions. Mr. Irresistible defeated Chief Little Bear to retain the WIW championship.

Dirty South Pro Wrestling was in Pensacola, FL, on January 16. Results: Kage, w/Phoenix, defeated J.T. Angel, w/”Busty” Becki Kennedy, to retain the US championship due to having his feet on the ropes. After the match, co-owner Tiny Tiswell stripped Kage of the title and vacated the championship. Tiswell announced that a new champion will be crowned on February 20. The 610 Kid defeated Florida Boy. Big Country & Gino Galento vs. “Cowboy” Johnny Wayne & AB3 ended in a double DQ. Stone defeated the Minister by DQ. Due to the result of the match, Stone won his wife’s freedom from the heavyweight champion, the Gothic Warrior, Danika Devilyn, and Mystress. Stone’s wife turned on Stone and went back with the Minister. “DDG” Lee Manning defeated Cowboy Ray to become the new cruiserweight champion. Street Bandit defeated “the Future Legend” DJ Pringle. Gothic Warrior, w/”the Devilish Deity” Danika Devilyn and “Naughty-Licious” Mystress, defeated Johnny Rebel due to using a foreign object to retain heavyweight championship. Tiny Tiswell defeated Short Bandit, w/Phoenix, & Red Hott to retain the light heavyweight championship.

American Wrestling Federation will be at the National Guard Armory in Chipley, FL, on February 13. Advertised: For the AWF championship, Luke Goldberg vs. Texas Rough Rider vs. Super Destroyer. In a No DQ match for the tag championship, “Bullet” Bob & Steve Armstrong, w/Dandy Jack, vs. “Dirty” Larry Brock & “Magnificent” Pedro, w/”Krippler” Ken Curtis.
