ROH World TV Champion Jeff Cobb def. IWGP NEVER Openweight Champion Will Ospreay to become a double champion

Cobb pinned Ospreay clean in the middle of the ring with a Tour of the Islands to win both championships. Cobb had previously kicked out of an OsCutter. All action match with a lot of high spots.

The match went less than 30 seconds. Rush pinned Castle quickly with the Bulls Horn Dropkick. Castle attacked some of the Boys in frustration after the match.

Kelly Klein def. Mayu Iwatani (c) to become the WOH Champion

Kelly Klein pinned Mayu Iwatani clean in the ring. After the match, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Mandy Leon attacked Klein after the match. They wrote an “A” on her forehead in red lipstick and are now a faction called The Alürre.

Flip Gordon, Mark Haskins, and Juice Robinson def. Bully Ray, Shane Taylor, and Silas Young in a NYC Street Fight

ECW-esque brawling match. Lots of weapons were used in this one. Bully Ray took the Dudley Boyz’ diving head-butt to the groin and was pinned by Gordon after a 450 splash.

Dragon Lee def. Bandido and Taiji Ishimori (c) to become the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion

This was an insane match with a ton of impressive moves. Dragon Lee hit a hurricanrana off the apron to the floor, Ishimori hit a crazy super hurricanrana, and Bandido did a phenomenal double fall-away moonsault slam. Dragon Lee hit a Liger Bomb on Bandido to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

IWGP Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa def. ROH Tag Team Champions PCO and Brody King, EVIL and SANADA, and Jay and Mark Briscoe in a Winner Take All Match

Lots of high spots in this one, mostly involving PCO. PCO did a summersault plancha onto Mark Briscoe hanging on the apron. PCO also took a powerbomb from the Guerrillas of Destiny out of the ring onto the floor with nothing but the mats to land on. Insane! I have no clue how he survived that one or sat up moments later.

After the match in what was made to look like a shoot, Enzo Amore and Big Cass jumped the barricade and attacked the people in this match.

Zack Sabre Jr. (c) def. Hiroshi Tanahashi via Submission to retain the British Heavyweight Championship

A technical wrestling match that saw Sabre do a lot of impressive submission holds to the arms of Tanahashi. Some drama at the end, but Sabre got him to tap out to an impressive arm bar.

Kota Ibushi def. Tetsuya Naito to become the IWGP Intercontinental Champion

The crowd was red hot for this match at the start of this one. There were some really awesome exchanges in this one. At one point, Ibushi gave Naito a German Suplex off the second rope, spiking him on his head in a truly scary spot. Overall one of the best matches of the night and a neat moment when Ibushi won.

Matt Taven def. Jay Lethal (c) and Marty Scurll to win the ROH World Championship in a Ladder Match

You’d think with all the ladder matches there have been through the years that there isn’t anything innovative left you can do with a ladder to create offense. Well, these three men managed to find creative ways to use a ladder that I haven’t seen before. They connected the ladders in an x-position, and Scurll gave Taven a front suplex onto them. Scurll also hit a big superplex off the top of the ladder. Lethal hit Taven with a Macho Man elbow off the top of a ladder through a table at ringside. The end saw Taven knock Lethal off the ladder onto another one and take the ROH World Championship.

Kazuchika Okada def. Jay White to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

This was a phenomenal match. So much drama and the crowd reactions were unreal. White controlled the match for a bit before Okada got momentum back. The finish saw a crazy amount of counters and signature moves. Okada eventually floored White with a Tombstone Piledriver before hitting two Rainmakers for the win.
