During “The Buy In” preshow for AEW Fight For The Fallen, Britt Baker suffered a concussion in her match.
While Baker was teaming with Riho against Shoko Nakajima and Bea Priestley, Priestley caught Baker with a full force kick to the head that led to the concussion. Baker was disoriented following the kick and even went to the wrong corner to make a tag during the match.
Baker still finished the match despite the concussion.
Referee Aubrey Edwards accompanied Baker to the hospital and confirmed on Twitter the injury. Baker subsequently tweeted acknowledging the concussion.
There is no word on how long Baker will be out of action. On behalf of the staff of Wrestleview, we’d like to wish Baker a speedy recovery.
Hurriedly left the venue to take care of a concussed coworker and checked on her every hour of the night. Next pair is on me Ref Aubrey ♥️ https://t.co/L1t4OT28KE

i'm pretty certain this bea priestley kick gave britt baker a concussion. she could barely stand up after it. i'm not sure she was even aware of where she was for a minute or two. unfortunate if it's true. #aew #fightforthefallen #aewfightforthefallen pic.twitter.com/ESgCVZF4r3
