National Wrestling Alliance no longer working with Ring of Honor, Aldis no longer advertised

NWA and ROH partnership over

PWInsider is reporting that the partnership between the National Wrestling Alliance and Ring of Honor has come to an end.

NWA President Billy Corgan is putting all his energy into getting NWA a weekly standalone series later this year once he finishes up his commitments with the Smashing Pumpkins tour.

NWA Vice President Dave Lagana, who has been producing all of the pre-tapes for Ring of Honor for the past seven months, finished up his commitments with the company this week. NWA Champion Nick Aldis is also no longer being advertised for the ROH Summer Supercard on August 9.

The break was said to be amicable with the door being left open for another potential partnership in the future.

It should be noted that PCO and Brody King are the NWA Tag Team Champions after winning it in the Crockett Cup earlier this year. There is no word on what will happen with the titles.
