AEW announced on Twitter Thursday that the very first title defense of the AEW Women’s Championship has been added to the promotion’s third episode airing October 16 live from the Liacourus Center in Philadelphia, PA.
We reported on Wednesday that AEW announced the first World Title defense would be taking place during the October 16 episode.
AEW on TNT premieres Wednesday October 2 and will be live each week on the cable network from 8:00pm to 10:00pm ET.
Tickets for this episode, as well as the second episode taking place October 9 in Boston go on sale today at 12:00pm ET/9:00am PT.
