Tallahassee Police find Chris Jericho’s stolen AEW Championship on the side of the road

AEW Championship found

The AEW Championship has been recovered after being found on the side of a road, concluding a four-day investigation.

According to TMZ Sports, AEW Champion Chris Jericho filed a report with the Tallahassee Police Department on Sunday that his championship had been stolen. Jericho, who took a limousine, had stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse for dinner. Jericho realized he had the wrong luggage, but when he got his bag the AEW Championship was missing.

The Tallahassee Police Department initially announced on Wednesday they had recovered the championship, including posting a photo of an officer with the title, but they quickly went back to saying it was “an open and active investigation.” The photo was also deleted.

The police are now saying they have actually recovered the championship belt and also noted that it is valued at $29,250. A citizen found the championship along a local roadway.
